We had the good fortune of connecting with Christine Polliard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christine, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I am originally from Pennsylvania. Growing up, my father owned his own business and took us to work with him at a very young age. This instilled in me a very good work ethic as well as provided me the perfect role model for my business today. My father taught me to work hard and to be honest as that is what builds your reputation, as well as your business.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am very proud of the business we have built. We are distributors of the Clean Burn Waste Oil line of furnaces and boilers. We pride ourselves and our team on finding the right customers that have a need for our services and meeting those needs in the most economical way to save money. It’s not easy, but the investment of our time to help customers realize huge savings is worth every minute spent. Some lessons learned along the way, especially in sales and service is to stand behind your product and be true to your word. This instills confidence in both the customers and the team that we have assembled. We would like to say that when a potential customer gives us their time, we will show them how they can save money for their business, receive free heat, and how quickly they will see the return on their investment. We are a small company and proud of the fact that we take the time to listen to our customers needs and find the right fit for our product and their business which is a win-win situation.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Colorado provides a beautiful destination vacation spot. Whether a guest wants to hit the slopes, hike in the mountains, or visit one of our many hot springs, there is no shortage of activities. Food here in Colorado is diverse. We have authentic Mexican food to All American diners. We are a melting pot and can meet any palate of food choices all over the state. Sports fans have a variety of teams and venues that are amazing to experience. One of my favorite go to places to take guests is Red Rocks Amphitheater, just outside of Denver. The views are spectacular, the formations jaw dropping, and if you’re lucky enough to attend a concert, you get the entire experience, which is unforgetable.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband Jeff retired from active duty, serving in the military for 34 years. He brought this idea to my attention, knowing my background in sales and banking would be an asset to running a business. We became not only life partners, but invested in a this business together to make it what it is today.
