We had the good fortune of connecting with Clint Whiting and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Clint, what do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being able to connect with people easily. One of my core values is being able to help others and that combined with being passionate about my profession makes it very easy for me to work with many different personalities.

In addition, being punctual and professional are some of the other key factors that I feel has made me successful

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I came into farm and ranch real estate from my outfitter that I work for and he felt that I would do very well in the business because of my passion for the outdoors and my ability to connect with people so easily.

The road has not been easy but being determined to stay consistent in my effort has made a big difference in my success.

One of the most important lessons I have learned is how important it is follow up with clients and prospects in a timely manner which makes a huge difference in my industry.

Being able to combine my passion of the outdoors into a profession of farm and ranch real estate is a dream career for me and I look forward to the opportunities ahead.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A week with me would consist of visiting several mountain towns, taking hikes in the mountains and exploring the abundant wildlife the state has to offer.

An example of this would be getting up early and grabbing coffee at Cafe’ Leo in Woodland Park before making the trek up the Manitou Incline to take in the breathtaking views from the perch of Barr trail which ultimately leads to Pikes Peak.

From there we would hike down and grab brunch at The Pantry in Green Mountain Falls. After lunch , we would head west and fish the gold metal waters of the “Dream Stream” for giant rainbow trout and keep an eye out for some of the many elk that roam the lands and become more visible as the sun begins to set.

Lastly, we would wrap up the day by cooking out over an open fire with good music, clean mountain air and a tasty cocktail.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would say that my 2 year old son, Sawyer is certainly my “why” and motivates me to be the absolute best I can be and be a role model for him.
