We had the good fortune of connecting with Cristi Knudsen and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cristi, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of The Rush Coffee is our deep commitment to community, quality service and products and reliability. From day one, I’ve focused on creating a business that not only serves great coffee but also fosters genuine connections with people. Building relationships with customers, local businesses, and event organizers has been key to growing our brand.
When it comes to quality, we don’t cut corners. Every drink we serve is crafted with care, using premium ingredients and prepared with attention to detail. I believe that when you put people and quality first, success follows naturally. It’s not just about serving coffee—it’s about providing an experience that brings joy to our customers and supports our local community.
This combination of high-quality products and a strong community focus has created a loyal following and helped The Rush Coffee become a part of the Front Range’s vibrant coffee culture.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am especially thankful for the unwavering support of my family and friends as I embarked on the journey of starting a new business. Stepping out of my comfort zone was a big leap, and I’m so grateful to have had the most amazing cheerleaders by my side every step of the way.
