We had the good fortune of connecting with Cynthia Del’Aria and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cynthia, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Entrepreneurs are the source of innovation in communities; they are the lifeblood of the economy; and they move us forward as a society and as a global community. Our mission at Raika Technologies, and with our new platform designed for entrepreneurs by entrepreneurs Precursa, is to completely reverse today’s accepted statistic that 9 of 10 VC-backed companies are expected to fail, turning that on its head and making it normal and possibly for the majority of companies to be successful by instating a process for determining viability of ideas early and often. When you remove investment in ideas that don’t have a real shot at viability, more ideas across more social spectrums get a better shot at funding and the resources they need to be successful, which in fact raises all boats.

What should our readers know about your business?
We are super excited about our new platform designed for entrepreneurs, Precursa. The process of product-market fit and idea validation is so important to the success of any tech company, and yet it’s the least understood and least prioritized process for most companies that are just starting up. We recognize that a lot of the knowledge exists out there on the Internet at large, but so little of that information is actionable, and even less of it is “findable” if you don’t know to look for it. We are democratizing the process of creating and building a viable, profitable startup with the goal of helping more people avoid wasting their precious time and money on ideas that will never produce a return. The number of people who have told me they’ve spent years of their life and hundreds of thousands of dollar building something that no one wanted is far too high, and what’s worse, it’s a PREVENTABLE narrative. By creating a platform that not only democratizes the information but supports entrepreneurs with real feedback and strategy, we are lowering the cost of getting the help that’s most needed and building more community and opportunity around those ideas that can stand on their own merit.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Denver is such a great city, and we are blessed with not only fun city-things to do, but also with a proximity to the mountains and the outdoors that is unparalleled. Any visit has to include some time spent at Red Rocks Amphitheater, especially if there is a concert or “Film on the Rocks” event happening. This gorgeous outdoor venue gives you a beautiful view of the city and is a feat of nature in its own right as well. I also love The Fort, which is a steak and game restaurant that uses original recipes from the 1800s to create masterful and enjoyable meals for anyone who is a meat-and-potatoes fan. Finally, I always recommend a trip to Estes Park to see the Stanley Hotel, which everyone associates with the movie The Shining. The property is gorgeous, there’s a great little eatery inside that’s got yummy grub, and Estes Park itself is quaint and in a beautiful setting on the lake. Plus, if you take the mountain drive, there are absolutely stunning vistas all along the way, so there’s virtually no going wrong with a day trip to Estes Park.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
It takes a village to turn an idea or a passion into a successful business. From my partner in crime and life, David Opperman, who has always believed in me more than I believe in myself, to my business partners Paige Goss and Sarah Jolly, who make me brave and give me wings, to my family and friends who give me grace and space to build something new and not always be great at returning phone calls, I’m eternally grateful for the HUMANS who make it possible for me to grow, get better in life, and create new things.
