Meet Danielle René Romberg | Certified Life Coach and Motivational Speaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle René Romberg and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danielle René, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I’m from a relatively small town in Oklahoma, with humble but loving beginnings. My parents raised me to only take what you need, be grateful for what you have and to help others every step of the way. I believe that we are all on this earth to help lift each other up. That is the driving force behind my soul and my business.
I went to school for Industrial Engineering and have a successful career in that field, however it does not light up my soul. I have to help people and that is why I started my own business as a Life Coach and Motivational Speaker.
My parents are very wise and always taught me life lessons and spoke in parables since I can remember. They are very inspiring and have always told me I could become anything I wanted. They believe in hard work and going after what you want. This was passed down to me and naturally part of my tapestry. I have always been the voice of reason and the friend to go to for advice or when you need some encouragement. One of my natural strengths is motivating others and getting them fired up to accomplish their task and believe in themselves. I love doing this and feel most fulfilled when I am doing this. I remember work getting in the way of me being able to help others/volunteer, so one day I just thought… why can’t I make this my job and help others all the time.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am a certified Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, Educational Trainer and founder of Positivity Speaks. Positivity Speaks is an inspiring company focused on achieving positive results for individuals as well as businesses. My mission is to help people achieve a joyful life through the practice of positivity. I am a firm believer that with a little practice anything can be flipped to be seen from a positive perspective and I help others achieve this with easy tips and tricks. I do this through individual life coaching sessions, motivational speeches, presentations, and educational training.
I have my Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and have worked as an engineer, project manager, quality manager, lean facilitator as well as a professional actress and dancer. I have over 11 years of experience with process improvement, lean manufacturing and root cause analysis that gives me the edge needed to help clients start seeing positive results quickly. This unique and diverse skill set mixed with the study of self-help and the function of the brain allows me to help clients walk through issues, break through personal barriers and determine tangible actions in order to help them reach their goals and ultimately achieve a more positive life outlook.
My approach is very different from other Life Coaches as my sessions are tailored to the individual and achieving personalized results quickly. The client has homework at the end of every session specific to where they are at and where they want to be. It is action driven and for individuals who are ready to put in the work but don’t know where to start.
I am passionate about this work because I need to help people. People too often put themselves in this imaginary prison and need a helping hand to sort through the truth and the fiction of their own thoughts. Life satisfaction can be improved simply and quickly with just a little bit of practice! It’s right within reach, you just have to believe in yourself and grab it!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would start with brunch at Urban Egg downtown Colorado Springs. The day is always more exciting with brunch! Then after I would take them on a walk downtown to check out the local stores and just soak in the Colorado sun. Travel to Garden of the Gods for a little afternoon hike. The views there are more than majestic and really connect you to the amazing nature that Colorado has to offer. Then I would take them to Old Colorado City to walk around, check out the cute boutiques and listen to live music in the park. I would have to take them to dinner at my all time favorite spot in Colorado Springs, Shuga’s! They have an eclectic menu, brilliant cocktails and an inviting yet laid back atmosphere. You can go there with a group of friends to let loose or by yourself to read a book. Then would end the night bouncing to different dive bars downtown. Sounds like a perfect day!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my parents. They are literally the reason I am who I am and have the ability to chase my dreams and start my own business. They have always been there and I cannot thank them enough. They instilled the values in me that give me the ability to persevere, work hard and never take no for an answer. Thanks Mom and Dad… for everything! Love you loads!
