Hi Desirae, why did you pursue a creative career?
To allow ourselves to be free in what we do and who we are as artists. To allow self expression and inclusion where most places want u to hide who u are and what u see so we took control and chose freedom of expression.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Not only am I a woman owned business we are family operated I started as a nurse caring for people in need I took that passion for caring for the ill and realized there was a need for piercers in the industry that actually had medical knowledge and experience as well as a piercer who holds an oath to do no harm so I specialize in troubleshooting botched piercings dermals and kids because of my medical background I have a slight advantage in know how to properly care for the piercing as well as the client as a whole. In our studio we take pride in our clients quality of work as well as their experience. Let us elevated your next tattoo /piercing

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Definitely gold camp road for scenic drive / hike there are lots of fun places to eat like skirted heftier for burgers , Mexican food is best at Miguel’s or Luna market , Italian has to be paravincis must check out manitou and penny arcade and of course u have to stop by our studio at the elevated ink cap tattoos / piercings with Colorado Springs mural for a suvonyier that will last for ever

Definitely my husband Luis Gonzalez he is always my rock , my support , my best friend we have been married 17yrs he is the amazing talented tattoo artist in our studio it’s just me and him . Also want to thank my daughter alayna front desk assistant and my son Harley junior apprentice for there hard work and dedication over last two years it has been a struggle but we are finally getting to see the reward of working for yourself and meeting amazing connections with community is all worth it
