We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Heather Prince and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Heather, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Starting your own business involved a comprehensive approach to transforming my ideas into a viable enterprise. I was in the aesthetics business as a staff member for 8 years before I opened my own business. My thought process included essential strategies such market research, business planning , financial management and branding.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am most proud of my education. I started with an associate degree in my 30’s. I was one of the older students in most of the classes. I went all the way through to receive my doctorate. It was a long, hard 10 years.  As soon as I finished one degree, I started on the next. I did not take a break. I didn’t have a summer break, winter break, or six-month break. 

The lesson that my children learned during this process is that you can do anything you set your mind to.  No matter how long it takes. It is achievable if you have a personal goal you want to achieve. 

What I want most people to know about my brand is that I’ve been in the aesthetic business for over eight years. I’ve worked for other people. I’ve worked for other physicians. I’ve worked for major corporations, and this is my first time owning my own business at the age of 50. 

As someone who gave birth to their last child at the age of 48, I understand the external pressures from media, Instagram beauty standards, and the pressures that we can put on ourselves. 

Our brand is a safe space. Our brand allows inner and outer beauty to show.  Our brand will enable you to reach obtainable goals with natural results.
