We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Lindsey Williams, MSW, PhD and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Lindsey, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
Owning Nesheims has taught my husband and I the importance of building rapport and relationships with our customers. Nesheims is where it is today because of our customers, we are only as good as our last customer. Our customers are family, and we want to have that type of relationships with our clients. When they call Nesheims, they should feel like family, when an issue arises lets have a conversation. Relationships with the community that we serve is so important and we continue to learn and grow from our amazing clients and community.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
In our humble opinion, what sets Nesheims apart from others is Nesheims foundation is and always will be small business and family owned. What we mean by that is, our customers will never call a 1-800 number and will never be treated like a number. We pride and commit to keeping that standard. Protecting our customers best interest and providing the best experience possible when using us. At the end of the day, issues may arise but how we communicate and handle these issues is truly the Nesheims brand. Knowing you can get ahold of the owner or vice president at anytime and we will do our best to resolve.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Such a hard question, Boulder community has so many wonderful places to eat and hang out. If Edward and I had to create the perfect day we would start our day at Ziggis with an energy infusion, head down to Lafayette and catch the morning car show. For lunch we would stop at the Old Mine in Erie and have a hibiscus Margarita and Pizza :), catch our kids hockey game and finish the evening at Steak House No. 316 with some amazing oysters, caesar salad, steak and bourbon. We love our community so much and truly enjoy indulging in eating out.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We have had so much love and support from so many wonderful people in our lives, from mentors to Chambers in our community. With honest reflection Edward and I want to dedicate this shoutout to each other. We both have taken tremendous risks and put everything into Nesheims. Having four children and careers outside of Nesheims is no easy task. Incredibly blessed to have each other as business partners while practicing patience, love, and support while we grow Nesheims together.
