Meet Edgar Wonder | Producer & Event Organizer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Edgar Wonder and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Edgar, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
started monsoon as a way to encourage music artists to empower each other on social media. Through content curation and “Content Days” where we get together and make content while hanging out. This became a successful approach to our social media. Artists need a good blueprint on how community works. Best practices are share and tag as many people as you work with.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Firstly I am a singer. I love to sing and write music and i get to do it professionally on the Sky Railway Santa Fe and other places around New Mexico. I also am a Music Entrepreneur and business man. As a business man, I get to meet a lot of awesome people who are very successful at business and this can be incredibly intimidating. I’ve been to networking events where i leave feeling like a new born baby boy with no experience in the world. It’s hard to feel unique in a setting like that but then I remember that I can sing like nobodie’s business! It usually puts me right back on track and I stop getting down on myself. I’ve learned that positiviely affirming yourself helps you go further in life because youre less likely to quit. I want the world to know that on top of being a fairlt decent business man and community starter I also pack a lot of heat in the singing department

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d say hit up dawn patrol coffee shop fro some coffee in the morning, go for a stroll in nob hill for a while. The weather is amazing, and we have the mountains right there, so we go for a quick hike in nature. on the way down we go to Empty House Studios to record some music with Matthew Tobias, then go out for some ABQ made whiskey at 505 central food hall. While we’re downtown we’ll stop by Echoes Brewing Venue and get some beers from our friend Jake Ralph and watch the show.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
High and Dry Brewing in Albuquerque. Countless others have been instrumental in our success. but high and dry was the first to take a chance on us and really helped put us on the map. Andrew Kalemba the owner brewer is passionate about music so we clicked on that right away. He has basically given me free range to utilize his venue to put on any kind of show. Its amazing to have such a supportive business partner and it feels good to have built that trust over years of successful events
