We had the good fortune of connecting with Ellie Rich and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ellie, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
While I was born and raised in Ukraine, my creative work, determination and love for photography has taken me all over the world – from the charming alleyways of Europe to the Dubai Desert and the streets of New York. As I look back on my travels, I feel nothing but gratitude for the opportunities I’ve had and the people I’ve met, and for the artistry that has defined my journey. It is through the creation of art that we can make a real difference in the world and leave behind a legacy for generations to come.

My thirst for new experiences and creative expression has never wavered, and I remain dedicated to honing my craft and staving off any hint of boredom. I credit my mother for introducing me to the world of art from a very young age, and I have since found joy in various artistic pursuits, from acting in TV advertisements and shows to singing, organizing events and fashion shows, and, of course, modelling and initiating various photo projects.

I am grateful to be able to do what I love and love what I do, as life is simply too short to engage in activities that diminish our spirits. My greatest pleasure comes from creating works that make dreams feel real, bringing excitement and happiness to those I work with, uplifting people, and helping them realize their true potential.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It would be my pleasure to share with you more about my art as a portrait and luxury boudoir fine art photographer. What sets me apart from others is my ability to capture the beauty and essence of my subjects in a way that is both elegant and empowering. My clients feel comfortable and confident in front of my camera, allowing me to create stunning images that showcase their unique beauty and personality.

I am most proud of the emotional connection that my clients have with their portraits. Seeing the joy and confidence that my art brings to my clients is truly a rewarding experience. I am also excited about the creative freedom that my work allows me, as every client and session presents a new opportunity to push the boundaries of what is possible.

My journey to becoming a professional photographer has been filled with challenges, but I am grateful for the lessons I have learned along the way. Building a successful brand and business takes time, effort, and dedication. I have learned the importance of continuously honing my craft, staying true to my artistic vision, and providing a personalized and exceptional experience to my clients.

One of the most significant lessons I’ve learned throughout my journey is the impact of collaboration and community. I feel incredibly fortunate to share my life and work with my husband, Dillon Richardson. Together, we create art-worthy photographs for various projects, and share the joy of immortalizing love stories and weddings under the brand name Mr. Mrs RICH.

In addition, I’ve come to understand the value of embracing failure and using it as a stepping stone for growth. As the saying goes, “The master has failed more times than the beginner has even tried.” Therefore, I recognize the strength that comes with perseverance and the desire to be better than the person you were yesterday. Through this mindset, I continue to learn and evolve as an artist and as a person.

Overall, I want the world to know that my brand is about more than just taking pictures. I strive to create an experience that empowers my clients and celebrates their unique beauty and story. My goal is to create art that is not only visually stunning, but also emotionally meaningful and empowering.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
– Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater – a stunning outdoor music venue and park with towering red rocks, hiking trails, and panoramic views.

– Guard and Grace – a contemporary American steakhouse located in downtown Denver, Colorado. This upscale restaurant is known for its elegant and modern ambiance, high-quality food, and exceptional service.

– Larimer Square – a historic block in downtown Denver with vibrant boutiques, restaurants, and nightlife.

– Union Station – a beautifully restored transportation hub with dining, shopping, and entertainment options.

These are just a few of the many fantastic spots to explore in Denver, Colorado!
