Today we’re excited to be connecting with Eric Faddis again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.

Eric, thanks for joining us again. Just to level set a bit for folks who may have missed our last interview together, can you briefly introduce yourself?
I’m a personal injury and criminal defense lawyer, Founding Partner of Varner Faddis Elite Legal, TV legal/political analyst and media personality, public policy specialist, law-writer, Colorado native, hustler, entrepreneur, boss, husband, brother, and son. At Varner Faddis Elite Legal, we seek justice on behalf of injured victims against the immensely powerful insurance companies. We also create, support, and advocate for legislation in Colorado and beyond. Our brand centers on innovation, creativity, self-expression, and a standard of excellence that we apply to everything we do. Our firm created and helped pass a law requiring rideshare companies to carry insurance for when their riders and drivers are injured. I’ve also done 300+ media appearances covering the biggest legal and political issues of the day, with an emphasis on celebrity legal news, for networks/programs like Court TV, Law &Crime, ABC, NBC, Fox, Newsmax, Crime Stories with Nancy Grace, NewsNation, Dr. Phil, and others.

Alright, so our main goal today is to give our audience an update on what you have been up to since our last conversation. We’d love to hear how things are going and what you are most looking forward to or excited about these days.
Since the last interview, much has changed. The law firm has expanded and is thriving. We were able to bring on my brother, Ben Faddis, as Director of Business Development. Our media involvement has grown substantially. Our public-facing presence has been enhanced with billboards, commercials, tv appearances, and social media. DU Law School has invited us to present to their students several times, and we’re grateful for the chance to convey whatever insights and lessons we can to the new generation of justice-seekers. The firm has been involved in several pieces of Colorado legislation including protecting rideshare drivers and passengers and expanding the categories of people who can bring a wrongful death claim if their loved one is killed, both of which successfully passed and are now law. Going forward, we hope to expand our media presence–did someone say reality show!? Stay tuned…

Not all cases are monetarily rewarding. We partnered with ALIGHT, which serves human trafficking survivor. I took a pro bono case for one such survivor and helped eliminate from her record a crime her trafficker forced her to do, the criminal record for which was preventing her from getting a job. We successfully got the crime removed from her record and she was able to get the job of her dreams. This person lived outside of Colorado, but, when she visited here recently, she made a point to come to my office and thank me in person. While we made no money on the case, it was one of the most rewarding legal matters I’ve had the privilege to handle.
