We had the good fortune of connecting with Eric Nonamaker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eric, how does your business help the community?
The Colorado Triumph Riders make a positive impact on the community by promoting motorcycling as a fun, safe, and inclusive activity. Through monthly rides, events, and advocacy for motorcyclists’ rights, the organization brings together enthusiasts of all skill levels. They also support local causes like humane societies and Toys for Tots, using their events to raise funds and donations. By fostering a sense of camaraderie and giving back, they strengthen the local community and the broader motorcycling culture.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As the Executive Director of the Colorado Triumph Riders, owner of Union Jack Moto Rentals, and an international 747 cargo pilot currently on medical leave, my journey has been fueled by a love for adventure and overcoming challenges. I combined my passion for Triumph motorcycles with a mission to offer unique riding experiences, while building a strong community through both the Colorado Triumph Riders and Union Jack Moto. Through resilience and staying true to my passions, I’ve learned the value of connection, adventure, and giving back. My story is about creating opportunities for others to experience joy and camaraderie on the open road.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting, we’d kick off the week with an unforgettable ride through some of Colorado’s most scenic spots. We’d start early with a ride around Garden of the Gods, enjoying the stunning red rock formations at sunrise. After working up an appetite, we’d head to Mother Muff’s in Old Colorado City for a delicious breakfast. Then, we’d grab coffee at Jive’s before setting off for Cripple Creek and Victor, stopping at Gold Camp Bakery Cafe & Deli for lunch.

The adventure would continue to the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, where we’d take in breathtaking views, before following Skyline Drive into Canon City. From there, we’d ride back to downtown Colorado Springs, where we’d explore the Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Museum. Dinner would be at either Dos Dos Tacos or Rasta Pasta, depending on the vibe we were feeling. This day alone would be a perfect blend of riding, nature, history, and great food.

For the rest of the week, I’d show them the local sights, like Pikes Peak, the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, and maybe even a few hidden gems in the area. We’d visit local breweries, catch live music, and soak in the vibrant community, while enjoying the unparalleled beauty that makes Colorado such a special place.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We’d like to dedicate our shoutout to the incredible community of riders, local businesses, and volunteers who have supported us along the way—your encouragement, generosity, and shared passion for motorcycling have been key to our success and growth as an organization.
