Hi Erin, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
The idea for Truly Aligned was born from a desire to reimagine the wealth management experience. We saw how clients were bouncing between multiple advisors—financial planners, investment managers, insurance agents—trying to make sense of fragmented advice. We wanted to change that by creating a firm that integrates every aspect of a client’s financial world into one, cohesive plan. By aligning financial planning, investment management, insurance, tax, and estate planning with each client’s values and life goals, we empower them to live a life that’s truly aligned—where their wealth is in harmony with who they are and where they want to go.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Truly Aligned, we’re not just about wealth management; we’re about transformation. We help clients connect their financial decisions to something much deeper—their core values, their dreams, and their life’s journey. Through our Financial Alignment™ process, we empower people to make decisions that don’t just grow their wealth but bring joy, purpose, and harmony into every aspect of their lives.
What excites me most is witnessing that moment when a client realizes their financial plan isn’t just a pathway to retirement—it’s a tool for living a life of fulfillment right now. Seeing someone recognize that their financial strategy can support both their dreams and their deepest values is incredibly rewarding.
Building Truly Aligned wasn’t without its challenges. Like many entrepreneurs, I faced uncertainty and moments of doubt. But what guided me through was an unwavering belief in the importance of aligning wealth with life’s deeper purpose. Staying true to that vision helped me attract clients who resonate with our mission, and it made all the challenges worthwhile.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned? When you’re clear on your purpose and stay aligned with your values, the right people will find you. At Truly Aligned, we are more than just wealth managers. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We’d spend most of our time in the mountains, maybe camping on BLM land for a secluded, peaceful experience. Boulder is surrounded by incredible hiking trails like Chautauqua Park, where you can explore the iconic Flatirons. There’s nothing quite like watching the sunset from Flagstaff Mountain with panoramic views of Boulder.
After soaking in nature, we’d balance it out with good food and drinks. A stop at Wild Pastures Burger Co. in Boulder is a must for one of the best sustainable burgers around. For a unique cultural experience, we’d visit the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse, a stunning teahouse with delicious teas and beautiful hand-carved décor.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There have been so many incredible people who’ve supported my journey, but I’d like to give special recognition to The Nova community. This group of soul-driven, ambitious women has been a powerful force in my personal and professional growth. It’s a space where authenticity and leadership are celebrated in equal measure, and the energy is one of constant support, wisdom, and empowerment.
The Nova has shown me that success isn’t just about individual achievement—it’s about community, connection, and lifting each other up along the way. The insights, mentorship, and shared experiences I’ve gained from these extraordinary women have fueled my growth as a leader and business owner. I’m deeply grateful to be part of a community that embodies collaboration and purpose, reminding me that when we align our lives and our goals with our values, the path forward is not only clearer but filled with joy and possibility.
