We had the good fortune of connecting with Francisco Estevez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Francisco, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important part of our business and the pillar we uphold in every shoot we do and with every client we work with is community. It is important for us to create a community around our brand but also within the greater Denver dance community where we are seen not just as a service but a vital part of the development of dance in our community.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What we do at the CandidlyCreated studio is more than deliver photos. We aim to provide a positive experience every time anyone comes through the door. We are now a team of 3 photographers and 1 social media manager – all with a dance background.

Each of us has a mission not only to create a positive experience for our dancers and models but also to use the specific techniques we have developed over the past 10 years to create faithful and creative dance photography for our clients.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The Stanley Marketplace, The Source… really any marketplace style eating/shopping. Any of our parks and if they can, Breckenridge, CO.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Everyone in the dance community in Denver and Colorado. Over the past 10 years as a dancer for Colorado Ballet, dance instructor for various studios and private clients as well as a photographer for the many dancers in the area, I have had the joy of watching dancers grow up and developed relationships with their families, teachers and mentors.

This community has supported me through two cancer diagnoses and helped build our business into what it is today.

The most important part of that community is, of course, my family and without my wife, son and family, I would not be where I am today.
