Meet Gillian Grant | Intuitive Tarot & Healer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gillian Grant and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gillian, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have long been drawn to healing and helping support others on the journey to living their best damn life. I started my career as a health educator with teens in a high school clinic, which was the start of me really investing in myself and others. My journey started from a toxic place of people pleasing, but changed into a more grounded space of sharing my learnings with others. I love working with people and seeing them grow into self love and belief. I have always been drawn to spirituality and intuition, and finally was brave to step fully in to “this world” and my power. I’ve done a lot of therapy, have many amazing mentors, and finally believe I’m amazing. I want everyone to get here also and believe they’re amazing. I am an intuitive tarot reader, healer, and self love fan of everyone. I believe all of us are powerful and magical and I want to support others who’ve been through hell and back like me to believe in themselves.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Trauma warnings. Abuse. Alcohol.
I had an autoimmune disease in high school that threw my confidence and understanding of my body into a tailspin. I started disassociating and was really pissed that my body stopped working the way I wanted it to or it had been for my whole life until that point.
I am an oldest daughter whose worth was stressed by good grades and a “steady job” and that I’m a role model
for my sibling. I’ve had to work had to unravel perfectionism and people pleasing that arose from these expectations.
I continued to disassociate with alcohol for most of my 20s and 30s until I couldn’t take being sick, hungover, and hating myself anymore. After going to therapy in 2020 for work frustrations and working on healing myself, I found myself at a spiritual shop getting a tarot reading that changed my life and had me move forward with healing. One thing led to another and I found myself taking classes and practicing often to be more connected to my intuition and spirit guides.
I LOVE what I do and I LOVE supporting others who are new or experienced in the spiritual world. I am a self love fan of others as I have been through hell and back to learn to love myself and found peace within. I am still a work in progress, as we all are, and so excited to be here in space with you all.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One fold for breakfast tacos and vietnamese iced coffee, a hike at matthews winters to have views of denver and wildflowers, followed with a little time sitting by clear creek or if the weather is right a little tubing, thrifting at mile high thrift for some fun outfits, and then head on to dinner somewhere and sit in city park to watch the sunset. my whole visit would be centered on food 😂
other food places i love: mango house, lempira, Vinh Xuong Bakery for bahn mi, new saigon for vietnamese, mexican food at hijas de la chingona, green chile at la loma
coffee: dandy lion, rosebud, quince
gifts: chroma, learned lemur
fun spot: the japanese listening bar on santa fe, ps lounge (one of the last remaining dive bars in denver), twist and shout for records, park hill treasures
