Meet Hayley Servatius | Founder & Principle Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Hayley Servatius and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Hayley, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My decision to start my own business came from a desire to blend my creative talents with meaningful work that impacts people’s lives. I’ve always loved design, and the idea of creating beautiful, functional homes that families can truly enjoy felt like a natural path. I wanted to contribute financially to my family while also showing my kids that with hard work and passion, you really can build something of your own. I’ve always thrived in creative environments, and launching an interior design business allowed me to channel my background in fashion into a new space—literally and figuratively. Helping people and bringing joy through design is not only fulfilling, it’s energizing. This business is both my passion and my purpose.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is rooted in creating spaces that feel like home—thoughtfully designed, deeply personal, and built around the lives of the families who live in them. What sets me apart is the blend of creativity and connection I bring to each project. I don’t just design beautiful rooms—I listen, I observe, and I craft spaces that reflect my clients’ personalities, needs, and aspirations.
What excites me most is seeing the final transformation through my clients’ eyes. When I walk into a finished space and see their joy, ease, and pride—whether it’s prepping for a big holiday dinner or just enjoying a quiet morning in their new kitchen—that’s what fuels me. That feeling of home, of belonging, is everything.
The journey hasn’t always been easy. As any small business owner knows, there are moments that test you. I’ve experienced firsthand how difficult clients or unexpected challenges can shake your confidence. But I’ve learned that standing in your truth, trusting your process, and keeping your integrity intact is the only way through. It’s taught me to hold my head high, remember why I started, and keep showing up with passion and professionalism—every time.
I want the world to know that Vintage Lane Interiors is more than a design studio. It’s a place where creativity, trust, and personal connection come together to create spaces that feel lived-in, loved, and lasting. This isn’t just about style—it’s about heart.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely—I dedicate my shoutout to my husband, Matt. He has truly been my constant through every high and low. Without sounding too sentimental, he’s never wavered in his support of me or my dreams. He’s the first person I turn to when I need honest feedback, creative input, or just someone to remind me I can do this. From day one, he believed in me and this business, even before I fully believed in myself. His encouragement, trust, and quiet strength have been the foundation that’s allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. I couldn’t imagine doing this without him.
