We had the good fortune of connecting with Heather Kuhn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Heather, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to build a community where people of all genders could come together and empower each other. I wanted people that felt like they didn’t belong, to feel a sense of belonging because we all have a purpose and we’re all meant to be here. I wanted to show people how important it is to keep your authenticity. We all come in CLUTCH.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
CLUTCH is different because it’s not meant to be forced on anyone, yet it’s meant to welcome each and every individual. CLUTCH is about reminding you that your authenticity matters and that what’s important to you matters. CLUTCH is here to empower.

I started having thoughts about creating my own brand way back when I was a teenager and thankfully I was able to put it to life in 2019. My friends and family support empowered me to just get going with it, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It’s really cool to see the brand impacting people, putting a smile on people’s faces and creating positive energies and emotions for people.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned while starting the journey of having my own small business was patience. Things don’t happen over night, and even though I am always so excited for what’s to come I know everyone won’t see my new product or my story instantly.

I want people to know that CLUTCH is not only a brand but a community. It’s a safe place for people. It’s meant to put smiles on people’s faces, and it’s meant to remind each individual just how important they are.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would definitely be going to a sports bar because I just love sports.

We would go get some food and drinks at La Doña Mezcaleria.

Definitely would got to an Avs game or a Rockies game depending on the time of year.

I would also take them paddle boarding at Chatfield and hiking somewhere in the mountains!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shout out my friends and family for sticking by my side and for repping my brand!
