We had the good fortune of connecting with Isabelle Paysinger and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Isabelle, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
The social media industry demands a high level of commitment, creativity, innovation, and continuous engagement. Many people mistakenly believe that simply having an aesthetically pleasing feed will attract clients. However, they often overlook the fact that there is a human being behind the screens. After all, no one opens Instagram solely to shop or to follow you, right? Instead, it’s essential to trigger a need in them that they didn’t even know they had or to offer a solution to a problem they face.

People want to see the real you behind the screen: what you eat, your vulnerabilities, your strengths, and your honest moments. Often, individuals hire social media managers who fail to engage with followers, resulting in a lifeless profile and money wasted.

Additionally, many clients come in with a focus on follower count. I always emphasize that it’s far more beneficial to have a smaller, engaged audience that truly resonates with your brand than millions of followers who do not contribute to financial growth. To invest effectively in social media, one must prioritize consistency, originality, genuine engagement, and patience. I believe this is the key to success.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My life has been anything but easy. It has never been simple, but it has never been impossible either. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, into a middle-class family of doctors. I always attended good schools until my father faced a financial crisis during my adolescence, which forced me to adapt and find my own way.

I went through periods of depression and anxiety during that time, but I channeled that anger into energy and strength to seek change and believe in a better future. I earned a scholarship for college after nearly ten years of applying each semester, without any guarantee of obtaining my degree. I worked in the mornings, studied at night, sold brownies and second-hand clothes, and took at least five buses a day to get home—all while navigating gunfire in the favelas and hours of traffic.

I had always dreamed of living in the United States, and it was through an exchange program that my journey truly began. In 2014, I started a social media business for a beauty salon, and it was a success. Not only did I manage their social media, but I also used my creativity to attract clients and differentiate their business from competitors. However, when I decided to move here as an au pair, I had to leave everything behind and start from scratch.

Upon arriving, I found myself studying and working in low-paying jobs, with little hope of changing my circumstances. When I made the decision to return to Brazil, God brought my husband into my life, and we have been inseparable ever since. I feel that my destiny was always to live here in the U.S.

After having my son, I struggled to regain clarity about my goals. The depression I experienced during and after childbirth prompted me to explore spirituality and the complexities of the human mind. It was during this journey that I met my mentor, Noemi Badialli, who profoundly transformed my life and aligned me with the purest truth of my being.

I became a therapist, and because creativity has always been a part of me, I decided to return to the marketing field, this time embracing my empowered feminine side. I now encourage creativity as a solution to problems and help my clients discover their true desires.

To all entrepreneurs, I would advise you not to focus only on the idea that being an entrepreneur is the best for you because of the financial return you may have one day. Instead, take the time to know yourself. What makes you unique for the world? Who are you? What are the talents that only have?
Today, many people forget to take care of themselves, to set goals, and to prioritize their mental health. That is also part of having a winning mindset.

I now understand that my primary value is freedom.I gotta help my clients using my creativity but also having the freedom I need. Without it, I struggle to function, and true alignment with my purpose is what brings me fulfillment.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take my friend to Postino, a place I’ve always loved for its inviting atmosphere and delicious food. After that, we would head to the Buddhist temple in Evergreen to meditate and express our gratitude under the Kuan Yin goddess statue. Then, we’d make our way to Glenwood Springs for the Iron Mountain Hot Springs, and finally, we would visit Maroon Bells. For me, this is the perfect combination of experiences that showcases the best of Colorado.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my journey of spiritual growth, strength, resilience, and vulnerability to my coaches, Noemi Badialli, who has been guiding lights in the realms of energy healing, and Alan Melo, with movement energy healing.

I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my mother, Jaqueline Nobili, and my sister, Gabrielle Nobili, for their unwavering support and love throughout my journey.

Last but certainly not least, I am profoundly thankful for my husband, Steve Paysinger, whose encouragement and partnership have been invaluable in my pursuit of personal and professional growth. Each of you has played a vital role in shaping who I am today, and I am deeply grateful for your presence in my life.
