We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmine, what are you inspired by?
As a young child I was always into arts and crafts. I started to develop a habit of teaching myself early on, by watching videos of other influencers creating what I wanted to. By using my creativity I discovered a love for it, and within my own culture as a Afro-Mexican I started to create what my culture wears, such as virgen mary bracelets. Then I tapped into my own skills and began making/ creating my own Rosary designs. This inspired me because I was able to make and gain money and opportunities for myself.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
A little about my buissnesses, I have a Jewelry boutique, aswell as a floral arrangement buissnesses & lastly I started making graduation leis. These buissnesses are all different in there own ways. Firstly my most successful buissness is my Jewelry boutique. I am proud to say I have had this buissness since 2020. All my life I have made and created Jewelry but never took it as serious as I did once the pandemic occurred. Having spare time after online classes (I was only a freshman at the time) So during that time I began creating content to post on social such as Instagram and YouTube. I constantly chased for it to blow up and I still am. Till this day I still am creating Jewelry (I have just graduated from Denver West High school) And I plan to continue on expanding my buissness while im in college by not only selling my products on campus but studying and majoring in buissness management.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to shout out many people in my life, such as my parents Greg Brown and Teresa Luna they have always supported me since day one before this was even a big thing. They showed me support by letting me tap into my own creative way and by that they would allow me to sit for hours on the computer endlessly watching YouTube to master my skills and ability. I would also like to shout out my family for always supporting me and giving me the supplies and materials to even make this possible.
