We had the good fortune of connecting with Jay Freeman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jay, how do you think about risk?
No risk no reward. I was very fortune to discover Jim Rohn at a earlier age and I will always remember his speech about risk. He speaks about the perception of risk in our society, and finishes a legendary quite with “wait until they hand you the bill for NOT taking any risk.” Playing is safe in your comfort zone is never the winning mentality.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a creative and instructor, I like to differentiate myself in the marketplace with raw truth. In my CCW classes, as well as music, I like to leave a lot of the fluff out of my craft. Rather that’s filler information in a presentation or bars in a new verse, i like to be direct, honest, and authentic.
All the credit thus far on my journey belongs to the most high. I could give you a million business lessons, tips and tricks for hours, ultimately none of that works without creator.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Different strokes Paint N Sip for a good time.
Welton St cafe for a good meal.
Visit Denver arts museum to get my creativity going.
For a good hangout, you can catch me at a place like Tetra Lounge with some gas!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to shout out The Most High and my community as a whole here in Colorado. I’ve learned many lessons on this soil and have became who I am today here. Shoutout the Mile High too.
