Meet Jessica Langley | Sex, Intimacy, & Relationship Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Langley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jessica, what role has risk played in your life or career?
As a Somatica trained s*x, intimacy, & relationship coach, there is inherent risk in starting a business that many may view as taboo. I am diving head first into an area where there is great need, but where many people are still so shy and carry a lot of shame. As a somatic practitioner, I am using tools that are not widely known and/or new to many people, so part of the risk is also in whether people will be receptive to this work. So, it is a challenge to educate and bring awareness to this area of healing.
I have a background as an artist, so risk-taking has always been a part of my career. When I decided to study painting, then go on to get a Master’s degree, I knew that I was risking stability in favor of freedom over my own career path. It was a path I knew I had to take, and I don’t regret it. This definitely influenced my choice to start a career as a coach, as well. I have always been one to take the road less traveled.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
With Versicolor Coaching, you will experience somatic practices that combine talk-based coaching with hands- on experiential techniques designed to help clients access more resiliency in their relationships, expand their emotional landscape, and achieve more confidence in their lives. Clients have the option to incorporate psychedelic microdose mentoring to help shift long-held beliefs. Through s*x, intimacy, and relationship coaching, I help clients live in their bodies and access more pleasure.
I can help you overcome:
*toxic shame
*low libido
*erectile disfunction
*performance anxiety
*attachment trauma
*postpartum intimacy issues
*body shame
*harmful belief systems
I can help you learn:
*the art of seduction
*flirting

*communication skills
*skills within the realm of kink
*a microdosing protocol that works for you
and more…
I am dedicated to liberating humans from toxic shame and helping people live more authentic lives. I believe that embodied pleasure is a birthright, and I can help you reclaim your sacred eroticism. I am queer and polyamorous, and through my personal journey I have learned to overcome anxious attachment style patterns, heal from childhood trauma, and embrace ecstatic self love.
I offer my abilities as an empath to attune to others and stay connected to the body and emotions. I have developed a trauma informed system of sensual and playful practices to help you reclaim your right to pleasurable wholeness and deeper connection.
As a lifelong artist with an MFA in studio art, I think outside the box and offer creative solutions to problems. Sensuality has become my primary media of expression. I am certified as an apprentice in s*xology by the American Board of S*xology.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This is a fun question! The first day would include the obligatory drive up the winding switchback on Gold Camp road to get a view of the city and take an easy stroll along the path to help them get used to the elevation. We would grab a drink and a meal at one of the few cozy spots in town, Shuga’s, where you can listen to good music. I would definitely book a ticket to to take them to see the James Turrel Skyspace installation in Green Mountain Falls, and enjoy the hike along the way. This is a must-see for anyone seeking a transformative experience. I may encourage a heavy microdose to help us relax into the senses. A hike on the contemplative trail in Red Rocks Open Space is definitely on the menu, followed by a trip to Monse’s Pupuseria. A cozy night in with friends would be a must to help foster connection.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My journey has been circuitous, and there are so many people I could shoutout for helping to make me the person I am today, but I would be remiss to not mention the Somatica Institute, where I did my training. This program was life changing! It has been one of the most transformative and empowering periods of my life, and the tools that I have learned haven helped me build more compassion for myself and others, learn better communication skills, and just have a better sense of what I need and desire!
Having a better understanding of the somatic experience happening within my own body, and learning how to gain control over it, has felt like learning an entirely new language for understanding myself. It is a trauma-informed practice, and through mastering these skills, I have opened the door to healing past trauma. I cannot thank Celeste Hirschman and Danielle Harel, the founders of Somatica Institute, enough!
