We had the good fortune of connecting with Jill Zeidler and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jill, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk taking is scary. Risk taking has been a big part of starting my pottery company. I feel that I had to take the risk and hit the ground running not looking back. It was essential to overcoming the thought of self doubt and failure.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have been building my pottery business for over 15 years. The support of my community has helped me grow to where I am today. I own a pottery studio and gallery in Big Sky, Montana. I am open to the public and it is very rewarding to have been in the retail world for 10 years.
There are always ups and downs in the world of retail and being an artist. It has been a lot of hustle and perseverance.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, that sounds fun! I would first take them on a beautiful hike or into Yellowstone National Park. At the end of the day, I would head to one of our locally owned restaurants in Big Sky. I would follow that up with a free Thursday concert held in our little downtown.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband, Tyler. He has supported me since the beginning!
