We had the good fortune of connecting with Jimmy Walker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jimmy, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most of the important factor is the fact of a school called Drone U in Loveland, CO. I have been several drone schools. Drone U teaches thru experience, most of the schools do not.
I went through there mapping boot camp for a week. I had several mapping jobs with in three weeks.

What should our readers know about your business?
Freedom Drone Enterprises, LLC was created in 2017 a disabled Veteran owned, after I retired. I received my Part-107 certificate or commercial Drone license to be able to fly my drones commercially, to make a profit from aerial photos, videography, photogrammetry. I started with Real Estate photo shoots with aerial shots of property. Then I was asked to do short 30-90 second commercials for small independent contractors to put in Facebook, Instagram TikTok. Then I went to DroneU in Loveland learned to do cell tower inspections Mapping and several different classes that would produce verticals in the drone industries. Then I was invited to Flight Instructor class and became a flight instructor for consumer and enterprise clients.
Also, I have been doing 30 -90 second aerial videos of solar installs for James Miazza with Boundless Energy / Freedom Forever solar companies.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For a large steak I would take him to Mickeys Steak house. Then for Mexican Cuisine it be The Hacienda, if there was Rockys Game I would take him there.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this shoot to James Miazza Boundless Energy. Also, I would like to give out a shoutout to Paul Aitken CEO of DroneU, in Loveland Colorado. Paul has mentored me in the growth of my company. One of the most important things is a wife having the moral support to keep organized and pursuing the goal to complete the task.
