Meet John Kuruc | Sports Chiropractor

We had the good fortune of connecting with John Kuruc and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi John, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My father owned a business and I wanted to follow in his footsteps of owning my own business.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m not your typical chiropractor. I value my patients unique goals and do not view them as a paycheck. All of my appointments are an hour long which is unheard of in the chiropractic industry. I focus on functional movement and sports rehabilitation. Each patient receives a lot of muscle treatments from cupping, vibration therapy, myofascial release, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, spinal/extremity adjustments, and rehabilitation exercises. My treatment plans are generally 9, 12, and 18 visits with patients getting the best results with biweekly appointments. This process is great because I can spend as little as 9 hours with a patient and completely transform their mobility in such a short amount of time.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Hiking Horsetooth or Arthurs rock would be up on the list for sure. Fort Collins has a lot of great local breweries and food trucks which is a must try. Biking the Poudre trial is also a great time!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My childhood chiropractor, Isaac Greeely. When I was 13 I went to see him after sustaining a baseball injury. After one treatment with him I immediately felt relief and was able to play my game the next day.
