Hi Jonathan, how does your business help the community?
Based in Denver, Colorado, both my companies Azcany, an active/lifestyle clothing brand and We Clean, a commercial and residential cleaning company, were pleased to announce the JDT Ventures Scholarship Fund. This collaboration project aims to help low-income and non-US citizen high school students pursue further education. This year, thus far, we have awarded a scholarship for a student. However, this is just the beginning; a percentage of all sales made through Azcany are to be allocated towards funding additional recipients of the JDT Ventures Scholarship Fund.

What should our readers know about your business?
Azcany is an active lifestyle clothing brand. We aim to provide products/pieces that are designed for a modern active style.  Upon the startup of this brand, we were able to create the JDT Ventures Scholarship Fund, which I am extremely excited about.  Azcany will be donating a percentage of every single sale to the scholarship fund. Growing up as a student immigrant, there weren’t many scholarship opportunities. Now, I am glad I can help and give back to my community by supporting future scholars on their academic journey.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If you’re in the Denver Metro area for a few days, you will definitely need to stop at these spots.

Visit: You can’t go wrong with any hike west of Denver, Red rocks(for a concert or even a workout), Manitou Springs Incline(1 hour from Denver), go for a walk or stroll around Sloan’s Lake, McGregor Square, Milk Market

Eat: Matsuhisa in Cherry Creek, 420 Tacos Food Truck on Federal/1st, Panaderia Rosales on 32nd(Bakery), Tamayo for brunch, Santiagos Burritos(for breakfast burritos only-can’t beat the price),Kachina Cantina

Drink: Denver Beer Company Brewery. Wynkoop Brewery, Cilantro(drinks only). Colorado has tons of breweries, so you can’t go wrong with any.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to give credit and recognition to the people in my life that continue to support and motivate me personally and professionally. I am so appreciative to my spouse, parents, friends and mentors.
