We had the good fortune of connecting with Jovanni Berry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jovanni, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I am perusing a artistic/ creative carrier because I have always had a eye for art and how it’s shown through models weather it’s a old sign on the side of the road or a high end piece of clothing everything has meaning to it. Being able to express myself through my own idea of creativity is what it’s about, straying from the norms or everyone else and paving your own path of what you like/love

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
in my dental career what sets me apart I’d save the will to just help people in this field. It’s difficult to want to give people help that they need when they can’t afford it a lot of the time here at our office, we try to make that the least of the patient worries. I was given a unique opportunity to be put in this field so it’s definitely a learning process to get all the information right but I’m at a point where it’s becoming second hand for me. In my model career, which I’m still very new to I feel what sets me apart is my uniqueness to try and experiment with different outfits, designs, walks, etc. I’m also very open minded when it comes to fashion I’m super versatile and feel a need to help execute the idea that the designer has. This has not been easy though it’s taken a lot of courage and advocation from myself. But one of the biggest things I’ve learned throughout this learning curve is if you want some thing you have to get it yourself.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am a big outdoors guy so you can actually find me in a lot of these parks I like to go to the local Denver Skate Park I really enjoy riding bikes in my free time and try to incorporate it in my creativeness an influence on social media. A few more good skate parks are arvada skatepark, golden park, and Erie street league park build by rob dyrdek. I’m a huge fan of the rhino district. Just a nice area in Denver to be in and I’m not familiar with the street names or specific areas. I believe it’s a bar called checkers or rally‘s. It’s on a pretty decent strip in downtown Denver, and really great food and drinks also have her get a chance check out the ant life space it’s a psychedelic art gallery. I’ve walked in the show there in the past and really enjoyed that place. Can’t forget the Denver art museum

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I only have 2 people to shout-out and that’s my step mom first she had been a really big advocate towards my model career . I was always shy or never felt I was good enough to start modeling but she really pushed me to sign up for castings and make content to get my name out there. It’s scary waiting with a bunch of other people you don’t know, Especially being away from home in a place I’m still learning her words and support from home have been everything for me! Another shoutout goes to COLOR OF FASHION in Denver they have helped kickstart my career by getting me in shows and holding super fun mixers/ events supplying a safe judge free zone and nothing but love
