We had the good fortune of connecting with Julian JAECITY Armijo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Julian JAECITY, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
As a kid I remember getting home from school and listening to my favorite artist such as Ludacris, Eminem, Paul wall, and fabulous. These artists have always had a big influence in my music career. So why did I pursue an artistic career? Is because I knew that there are other individuals out there that go through the same struggle as I do on an everyday basis.
So being able to speak to the microphone and express myself on how I feel maybe one day I can also reach out to someone somewhere and let them know your dream isn’t far you just have to reach for it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is that I ride my own wave. I don’t follow the crowds I’m most proud of staying true to myself in this bandwagon era & making things happen no matter what. It hasn’t always been an easy ride. I can honestly say I’ve put my blood, sweat, & tears into this. But, I wouldn’t change my journey at all. It made me who I am, it’s part of what I built with my life I’ve also learned to stay humble on your craft and be yourself.
Take care of the people who took care of you and always represent where you came from

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Red rocks has always been my favorite place to be the scenery of the Denver is what makes this city Beautiful. I visit red rocks amphitheater on a weekend base To remind myself that this is the place I want to sell a show and bring other major music artist too.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would have to say shoutout to all my people who have been rocking with my music since day one and being consistent Also shoutout to my big bro Frank Hustle
