We had the good fortune of connecting with Kadir Kojo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kadir, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I decided to partake on a creative career because life can get so crazy and stressful I need a career that allows me to control and express my emotions not feel like an a Amazon warehouse robot.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I want the world to know, that KOJO is a long story. A story of a lifestyle we can all relate to. As KOJO grows and expands my hopes are to continue a culture of a creative lifestyle.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For food we would go to either Nola’s Voodoo Tavern, Viva Burrito, Welton Street Café, Mercury Café they have really good organic and vegan food. Entertainment I would take them to see the contemporary art museum, five points because it has a lot of black people history including jazz and cowboys, Black American West Museum and City park.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give credit to DCM by Daniel Chavez an expert in his field of creative design; man can get anything done for yuh. “ New Era Musik ” helping in the efforts of bringing the city closer together educating & managing young artist. As well recent Reads the “ Quran “ , “ A Riotous Mind “ and “ Rich Dad Poor Dad “ trying to get closer with my spiritual self.
