We had the good fortune of connecting with Kali Ryan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kali, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
My cats really make me happy. They make me so happy that I have decided to get my certificate in veterinary assistance so I can help others pets because I know how much they love them.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I love my cats, and I love to share them to the world. They are also my inspirations for my paintings and digital art. It’s actually quite easy doing an instagram for cats, besides keeping up with the demands while I am also trying to juggle college at the same. I want the world to know that my life resolves around cats and pets, and I hope to bring that love into the workforce after I graduate.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would first love to take my friend downtown. There are so many local businesses there and I always love supporting them. Next, I would take them around and show them the art walk in manitou to show how full manitou is of wonderful artists. I would also take them to my volunteer job at Happy Cats Haven. Lastly, I would take them to sweet Williams antiques because they are my favorite antique shop in the springs!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shout-out to Happy Cats Haven. I want to also thank my dad for passing on his kindness and love towards animals.
