We had the good fortune of connecting with Kandyse Morales and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kandyse, how do you think about risk?
Risks are the single most important thing to advancement in your life, relationships, and business. We get told as children that we need to be careful, watch out, and make good choices but all of that just really beats it into our heads that risks are bad. As we grow up we get more careful and make the safe choices until one day we find ourselves stuck or complacent in our lives. We become unhappy and have no idea how we got here. The answer is because we stopped taking risks, we stopped going after things that scare us. Risks have pushed me forward in my life and my career and they can for you too.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started with a network marketing company but my journey did not end there. Most people talk about all the negatives of network marketing but for me, it changed me life. I learned skills that allowed me to create my own brand and jump into the coaching space. I was scare to take the jump and begin to focus on empowering others to be able to get out of the rat race and look at life through a different perspective. A journey to a life worth living is NEVER easy, there are always challenges. The biggest challenge is facing yourself in the mirror, learning and overcoming your insecurities, and letting go of your past failures. I’ve learned through my journey that there is no end destination, there will always be crossroads, and new paths to forge but its important that you take the space you need to be able to find what is aligned for you. As I continue to grow Calling Women Higher, I want to encourage women that you can be whatever you want to be. There is no defined way for a woman to live her life.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My number 1 spot to take anyone visiting the city is to Eldorado Springs, it’s about 30 minutes from downtown but the space is breathtaking. I’ve spend hours watching people rock climb the walls of the canyon. For food, we are going straight to Snarfs! Their sandwiches are unmatched or if were wanting a sit-down restaurant, the Biscuit Company!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My life changed when I join ItWorks, a health and wellness network marketing company. It was through the support of the company and the people I meant along the way that I grew the confidence I needed to be able to create my own brand and challenge other to find greatness within themselves. You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with and when you elevate your circle, you elevate your life.
