We had the good fortune of connecting with Kasey Wichael and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kasey, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
I want people to remember me by how hard I love and care about others! That is why I started my business! I want people to know their self worth is the most valuable characteristic to have of themselves. I want people to know that I did everything I could to make alternative holistic modalities of healing your mind, body and soul easily accessible to them. I want people to remember me by my drive and determination to be the best person that I can be to help others see that in themselves as well! I have a big and loud personality but I make no apologies for who I am and how I am because I come with nothing but the best of intentions. I love and care just as big as my personality!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Well to start off I am and have been a cat scan technologist at a level 2 hospital for 10 years! I love my first job but I know that I can make more of an impact with my personal business. Through covid, divorce and some other unforeseen life events I dove into my self healing journey which is how I first discovered breath work. I immediately knew I had to know how to facilitate this amazing somatic healing process to be able to change peoples life the way that one session did for me! Through breath work I then completed my Reiki 1, 2 and masters atonement. I had no intentions on making this a business until I became aware as to how vital this modality of healing is to incorporate in your healing journey and practices.
Once I understood the need for this and started hosting a monthly breath work event at the hospital I work at I knew I had my hands on something! I am not one for conforming to other peoples ways of doing things so I would say my business has had a bit of a slow start but I take this work very seriously and I want to bring only the best of what I can do to others!
I have done everything from 1:1’s, events, retreats and small intimate groups as well. I have always had a love for tarot/oracle card readings and I have always played around with them so I figured why not squeeze that in with my sessions as well! So I then created an option for clients to have a Reiki infused Breath work session that kicks off with an oracle card pull that leads into a channeled reading to help my clients set an intention for their breath work session. Those readings have become quite popular and now I am actually advertising what I call “life insight readings” My readings are to help people see their future at their highest timeline and all the amazing possibilities that are laid out on their path but, we all have free-will right? So I kindly guide them to take what resonates and makes the choices that they feel are best for them.
This road has not been easy but it has been so rewarding and worth every second and I am just getting started!
The challenges I have faced have only made me stronger and more versatile! This road has led me to REALLY showcase my most authentic self because THAT is how you attract the clients meant for YOU! Which has also led me to start my very own podcast…”When The Comfortable Gets Uncomfortable”. I have been getting nudges from the Universe for a while now that I need to share my story! So here I am, sharing my story in all its glory! And I have to say it has been uncomfortably vulnerable but has also launched me in to this space of not being afraid and giving me so much drive to continue on this path!
I want the world to know that what you are looking for in everyone else is what you need to be looking inside yourself for!
I am my brand and my brand is ME!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
lol Well I don’t know if I am the person to be asking for this as I am actually quite the homebody! BUT with that being said I use my time wisely and would like to think I go to some of the BEST spots! first and foremost we would go to Just-Be kitchen for some guilt free breakfast burritos! Then off to mount Princeton hot springs because who doesn’t like to go soak at a hot springs! mount Princeton is one of my faves!
Next up would be Idaho springs for some Tommy knockers or Beau Jo’s. and maybe a good rock shop, there is a hidden gem in Idaho springs called the gypsum rose.
Heading back to Denver some good spots I like to go to are the Dairy Block, the terrorium shop, rhino district for some fun eats and places to dance! If there’s a good band in town DEFINITELY a concert/life show! RED ROCKS if someone great is playing!!
ALSO have to get in some good hiking! evergreen is an easy getaway to check out some awesome views at Maxwell falls as well as saint Marys glacier is always a fave!!
oh and we would most definitely have to hit up a tattoo shop to commemorate our great time! I love tattoos and ive been dying to hit up Tattoo Thank you, a new tattoo shop!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Oh man! Where do I begin!? I have so many amazing souls that I have met along my healing journey as well as my entreuprenuriship venture that have helped me in tremendous ways but the person that sticks out the most is Salwa Owens! Salwa has been not only someone I look up to but she has been a key part of helping me unlock the Fear behind what it takes to start your own business. I would also like to thank all the nay-sayers lol The ones that fed me doubt and always reminded me of all the things that could go wrong! They gave me the most courage and determination to keep going! I love a good competition!
