We had the good fortune of connecting with KeAre’ Rhea and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi KeAre’, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Social media is the biggest form of influence for this generation today . I have a teenager who spends several hours a week posting and watching videos from other influencers. The content and messages portrayed do not provide quality substance, that would be beneficial in the growth of our youth. I decided to change the narrative from “being influenced to being the influence”. With my experience and education in the communications and broadcasting field, I started a program that will empower students to develop and grow their community involvement and online presence. This will also improve their communication and networking skills.

What should our readers know about your business?
KrheaTive Kidz TV provides a creative and unique outlet for teens. KKTV is a virtual nationwide journalism program, where students learn how to research various topics, interview subjects in their communities and showcase their work on our social media platforms. They also have an opportunity to develop an online and community presence, as well as learn the importance of networking and public speaking skills. I am really excited about the opportunity to change the narrative from “being influenced to being the influence”. I have evolved to where I am today by gaining not only formal education in this field, but also by various employment and life experiences. My journey so far has been challenging but rewarding, as it has prepared me for where I am today and is still influencing where I am headed. My approach to overcoming challenges is to learn from my past and face each day head on with a drive to succeed. Success to me is not that I never fail, but that I never give up!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Welcome to the city of Denver! I have an exciting itinerary planned for you!

Day 1- We will visit enjoy some authentic, made from scratch, Mexican food at “Hacienda Colorado “. Then we will venture to the beautiful Butterfly Pavilion, for an interactive experience of their exhibits.

Day 2- Visit Estes Park ( sightseeing, food/drinks, ATV riding, visit and stay at the famous “Stanley Hotel ” from The Shining)

Day 3- Visit the Great Sand Dunes National Park and we will camp overnight at the Sand Dunes swimming pool and campground.

Day 4- Spend the Day in BlackHawk for Colorados mini Vegas (hiking and casinos- eat at the “Monarchs” famous seafood buffet and lodge at the “AmeriStar” featuring a roof top pool and spa)

Day 5- Visit the Indian Hot Springs, where we will lodge at and enjoy geothermal caves, spa treatments and private baths for the day.

Day 6- Morning Yoga at “Red Rocks”, hiking and sightseeing and then enjoy a pre-show meal at the Ship Rock Grille before attending an outdoor concert on the rocks. We will lodge at the “Origin Red Rocks”

Day 7- Brunch-The Lobby (Drink (bacon and whisky shot and mimosas and food) Explore 16th street mall (shops and other restaurants)
