We had the good fortune of connecting with Kelli King and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kelli, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I was in school for Aesthetics I always knew I would have my own business, I have always been a leader. When I finished school I worked at a couple spas then got hired to manage a medical spa in cherry creek. I realized then that I wanted to start my own business and work for myself.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is all about my clients and bringing out a smile in their faces, I am a medical Aesthetician that specializes in Permanent makeup, Brows and Skin care. When I realized I wanted to get into this industry was when I realized my artistic ability as a makeup artist. I went to school for Aesthetics in 2010 where I got an Associates degree in Aesthetics. I then went to school for Permanent Makeup where I learned the art of Tattooing brows, Lips and eyeliner. My most challenging time was learning the technique and Art that goes into permanent makeup. Over the years I have mastered my skill, I absolutely love what I do and most of all I love making my clients happy.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Being from Colorado there are so many places I would take them, for a night out we can go to a show at Redrocks, Union Station is so fun and unique to go for some food and drinks. Some day fun would be a nice drive into our beautiful Rocky Mountains. Maybe even a sports event.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I don’t have one in particular, I have had many family and friends that have supported me on the way and to this day continue to support me and my business.
