We had the good fortune of connecting with Kelsay Heath and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kelsay, how does your business help the community?
Commercial real estate and property management are crucial in supporting the local community and the global economy. Firstly, commercial real estate provides space for various businesses, ranging from small startups to large corporations. These businesses contribute to the local economy by creating jobs, generating tax revenues, and providing goods and services to the community. In this way, commercial real estate helps to bolster economic growth and development.

Property management also helps ensure that these commercial spaces are well-maintained and safe for both tenants and visitors. This can include tasks such as cleaning, repairs, and security measures. By ensuring that properties are well-maintained, property managers help provide a safe and pleasant environment for businesses to operate and for customers and visitors to interact.

I succeed in my job when my community is growing and thriving. I try to get involved with as much community outreach as possible. At the moment, I volunteer on two boards, YPN and NAMI. YPN is the young professional networking group in the Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce. NAMI is the National Alliance of Mental Illness, which concentrates on the western slope of Colorado.

Overall, commercial real estate and property management have a significant impact on the local community and the world at large. By providing space for businesses to operate and maintain these properties, they support economic growth and development, create jobs, and contribute to sustainability efforts.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a driven and accomplished young professional from Fruita, Colorado. Born in 1998, I attended Abilene Christian University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Business. After graduation, I embarked on a career in commercial real estate, quickly establishing myself as a rising star in the field. Recognizing her remarkable achievements, I was named one of the top three under-30 years old professionals at Coldwell Banker Commercial’s global company. In addition to my professional pursuits, I am an avid adventurer and skier. I am passionate about helping local businesses and individuals pursue their desires and reach their full potential. I am committed to using her skills and expertise in commercial real estate to help entrepreneurs and business owners find the perfect location to achieve their goals. Though there are daily challenges in my job as I face the ever so changing industry. My success starts with the mindset that I learn through all the challenges. So no, my job is not easy, but that makes me a stronger woman and business owner. I have learned that some fantastic people genuinely believe in improving the world. On the other hand, I have also learned that people can be very selfish and not care about the world or its people. I want the world to know I am here to help and care for my clients because that is my motivation. As some people may think Realtors are in it for the money, I am not motivated by the money. However, I would be lying if I did not appreciate being compensated for my hard work. My brand and business motto is PEOPLE, PASSIONS, and Properties. I support people in their passions in order to find them the right property for them.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend Bailey Hammer were to come and visit me, I would take her to all my favorite places. Once she arrived on a Friday afternoon, I would take her to a barre or spin class at Barrelosophy or revolution cycle. Then after we freshened up, we would get dinner across the street at Moodys, a speakeasy-themed bar with the best cocktails in town. Saturday morning, we would wake up and hike on the National Monument, then return to Fruita to grab a light breakfast and coffee at Best Slope. Next, we would go to the Imondi Wakeboard Park in Fruita and play in the water. Ending or midday adventure at Hot Tomato, the famous pizza place in Fruita. We would take pictures all over the valley of the beauty surrounding us. Then get a drink at the lavender fields called Highlands Distillery. We would go to Palisade and visit the beautiful wineries or the two distilleries on the river. Sunday morning, we would get brunch at Dream Cafe or Goat and Tavern, allowing us to walk down the main street to all the boutiques and antique shops. Finally, we would have a relaxing massage at the Middle Wellness Center. Ending the trip, we would go to the top of the Hotel Maverick to see the view of the city and eat at the amazing Devil’s Kitchen cheering for a successful weekend.
