We had the good fortune of connecting with Kendara Laurel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kendara, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I knew that there was a need for people interested in Metaphysics to connect with other like minded’s.

For some reason many people in this buisness are reluctant to market themselves.
I also saw tthe potential for many experts to let others know about their businesses and services.

I had also been a Metaphysical teacher and intuitive counselor for over 30 years at the time, and knew individuals who I felt could benefit by letting people know about their services.

Both learning about this and also letting others know what they did.

Meetup seemed like was the ideal solution for to do both. I also found it was a wonderful way to promote my owne services.

What should our readers know about your business?

I have been involved in Metaphysics for over 40 years. I think my specialty is empowering others. I do this in several ways. I run a 3800+ Introduction to Metaphysics Meetup. I also teach a lot of classes and give intuitive, I Ching and Tarot readings. both online and in person.

The thing which sets me apart is I am a networker. Having been an integral part of the Metpphysical communoity for so long, I know alot of people in the field. So using my intuition I am able to help others connect with the best hedaler, teacher or other reseources resources for them at the time, So I guess in some ways I am also a facilitator

I also empower students, just starting on their journey to discover and develop their particular psychic gifts, while helping them replace self sabotaging belifefs which allow them to manifest what they want. .I am especially proud that I have taught hundreds and continue to do this through classes, mentoring and my groups. . I am also able to connect people with the best teacher, healer or practitioner for their particular needs.

I am incredibly proud of my ability to help empower people and also enable them to tune into their own intuition

The tools I use are Gratitude, Meditation,

Lessons I want to share. Trust the process.Listen to yourown guidance.
I think lessons I would like to share have included trusting what I am getting, rather than second guessing myself, OIne of my most significant happengs occured about three years ago when I was reading at a large metaphysical fair. A young college couple wanted to know whether they would still be together after they graduated. I kept getting the message ‘Tell them We’ll always have Paris’. Which of course I didn’t..I mean that was so dumb, but the voice continued..’Tell them ‘We’ll always have Paris’. Finally I looked at them and said, this is going to sound dumb, but I keep getting the message to tell you ‘We’ll always have Paris’. They looked at each other and back and me and said ‘Well, we went to Paris last summer, and you’re right, regardless of what happens’, we’ll always have Paris’. So I learned to trust the message.

Don’t sweat the small stuff. Be open to options. One of my main beliefs or lessons is relates to manifestation. When you want to manifestt something , only tell your goals to people directly involved in helping you attain them. Others don’t really need to know until after the fact.

Also don’t compare yourself to others. Everyoneis psychic amd has gifts, It is said ‘if every bird in the forest had to be the best singer, the woods would be very quie’t.
This is greatly enhanced through meditation and gratitude (which is saying ‘thank you and more please).

I want to close with this elevator speach I give all my clients:You have free will, do not let a psychic or anyone else tell you what to do, if doesn’t feel right for you.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Denver is the best place to find awesome things to do. I would have to start by taking my best friend to an awesome coffe place. There are many but two of my favorites are Doppio’s. . St Marks Cafe is another long time Institution for people watching and coffee sipping.

I also love to watch people, so we would have to walk down the 16th street Mall and check evyone out.

There are also wonderful fun touristy places to go: Meow Wolf, and incredible multidimensional interactive an immersive arts experience.

Re Mountain venues, Rocky Mountain National Park, Mt Evans,Pikes Peak, Georgetown, Idaho Springs, Rocky Mountain Nation Park, Mt. Evans, more.

Denver also has incredible touristy attraction . Denver Art Museum, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, the Botannical Gardens, even the State Capito.

Denver really is a foodie town. . So many restaurants. Sweet Action for Ice Cream, Imperial Gardens for Chineses, Bella Italia for Itallian, and for vegtarian, there is Watrcourse foods, Bang up to the Elephant and City O City. .
Aand of course, no trip to Colorado would be complete with a visit to some of the incredible tourist attractions Denver Center for Performing Arts. Molly Brown House,, IUnion Station -great for people watching,

. Catch a concert at Red Rocks or one of the many other musical venues which have top notch talent.

I also like going to tea rooms. One of the best is the Boulder Dushambe Teahouse.

There are also a huge number of metaphysical boostores and shops such as Quantum Alchem, Shining Lotus-which has the largest selection of used Metaphysical books in town, Herbs and Arts and so much more.

I might even hook them up with an incredible healer or reader while they are here. There are so many of them.

I also love taking really l wonderful long walks though so many of the great parks. Washington Park, Cheesman Park, City Park more. However Denver is a wonderful place for just walking around.

. There really is no shortage of things to do or places to go. We really wouldn’t have a specific agenda. Just lots and lots of options – of which Denver and surrounding areas have no shortage

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

One of my first teachers was, Rev Mildred McDonald, a in Miami Florida, really got me started in terms of my Metaphysical studies, but there have been so many others. Certainly Howard Badhand, a Lakota Sioux Medicine man who taught be the I Ching, which I still use.

Re Organizations, I would have to say The Metaphysical Society in Denver, where I got my start, Of course I Meetup, which allows me to facilitate at 3800 + Introduction to Metaphysics group.

And of course all the students who I have been fortunate enough to mentor and teach. I really think through teaching I learn just as much as they do.

Re books: The Big Leap, by Gay Hendricks, and of course Abraham Hicks- manifestation expert.
That is my much too long answer.

Short answer, so many that I cannot even begin to list them. It takes a village. So I have to say my success is not based on one person, book or organization, but rather a cast of what seems like thousands. .
