Meet Kimberly Beauchamp | Licensed Massage Therapist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kimberly Beauchamp and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kimberly, what do you attribute your success to?
In the massage therapy and bodywork industry, my success is rooted in a relationship-driven approach that prioritizes meaningful connections with my clients. By fostering an environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and trusted, I create a space that stands in stark contrast to the typical model focused solely on maximizing client numbers. In a world increasingly dominated by technology and social media, my practice offers a refreshing reprieve from emotional detachment. Here, clients experience authentic connections that promote their well-being, allowing for a deeper level of healing and personal growth. This commitment to genuine relationships not only enhances the therapeutic experience but also cultivates a supportive community centered on health and trust.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I believe that when we take the time to slow down and tune in, we often notice the universe offering us gentle nudges and little winks. I never intended to start my own business; I jokingly refer to myself as a disgruntled retired teacher. After years of serving in education, I began to feel the universe nudging me to embrace my core values of giving to others, but in a way that also nurtured myself. Wanting to avoid the stress and responsibility that had negatively impacted my health, I stepped into the world of massage therapy with the intention to learn and grow, focusing solely on service without the burden of business concerns. However, I quickly realized that many companies prioritized profit over the genuine well-being of their clients. This realization led me to leave my last position in such an organization and start my own business, a decision that felt both daunting and liberating. To this day, I feel overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and support from those who form the backbone of my journey. My goal has always been to give to others, and despite being a massage therapist, I find that I receive so much in return—from businesses that recognize my work and refer clients to the loyal patrons who have followed my journey from employee to small business owner, and to my family and friends who have helped me with everything from registering my business with the Colorado Secretary of State to building furniture for my treatment room. I’ve learned that you cannot truly give without also receiving. By embracing a relationship-driven approach, I am fortunate to run a successful massage therapy practice centered on authentic care. My bodywork sessions are all-inclusive, ensuring that every client receives the utmost attention and care without upselling add-ons. I am not a typical spa; I am in the business of helping people. Having experienced a painful spinal condition myself, I understand the feelings of hopelessness that can accompany traditional medical approaches. This inspired me to explore how individuals possess innate, powerful capabilities to heal themselves naturally. I feel incredibly blessed to be where I am today, with the universe smiling back at me!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m a nature enthusiast, so I could only imagine that my best friend would have somewhat similar interests. I would take them river tubing down Clear Creek in Golden, rock climbing in Boulder Canyon, disc golfing at Beaver Ranch in Conifer, paddle boarding through the Groves in Chatfield, to the Hot Springs at iron Mountain. But if my friend wanted a little more diversity, I would share Denver‘s meow wolf, outside patio seating at Littleton’s restaurant Angelo’s for the sunsets, and the Santa Fe art District,

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
It may seem altruistic to nominate my father, Errol Beauchamp, but he is truly an inspiration to not just me, but to others with his genuine compassion, unyielding curiosity and creativity and his perseverance. All of this is conveyed with the stories behind his amazing sculptures and the art he creates to inspire others.
