We had the good fortune of connecting with KyiranFamous and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi KyiranFamous, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
I feel multitasking is one of the key things that has helped me succeed thus far. That and always being willing to learn (no matter the source). The world is a huge place filled with knowledge that can be obtained through the simplest conversation.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m an hip hop and rnb artist. I’ve created the term, label and lifestyle which is SkateboardNazty. I’m most excited by the experience of it all. I got where I’m at today by a lot of failed plays and I do mean a lot lol. No matter how much I failed though I knew if it was easy I wouldn’t wanted it as bad as I do today . Biggest lesson I’ve learned is to have full control and ownership of the music you create and income it can generate. I just want the world to know I didn’t give up and SkateboardNazty is about ones ability to fall /fail get back up and keep riding on the road called life no matter how nasty thing get.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m from California so of course a few of my favorite spots would be the beach. Another would be downtown and last but not least the local skate parks

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are three people who deserve a huge shoutout for my success, life and the man I have become. First one goes to my father who instilled in me the key morels I live by today. Second goes to the late and great singer Aaliyah, whos song saved my life when I was going to commit suicide after losing my father in at the age of 13 years old. Last but not least goes to my amazing daughter Rae’Nah. She came in my life at my lowest point and showed my how to not only love others but love myself.
