We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyla Murphy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kyla, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought process behind my business was bringing something that individuals that are like me could appreciate and love. Luxury and quality being first in everything down to products and experience, while also feeling able to express themselves openly.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets my business apart from others is the quality and experience you receive. I know most individuals who get their nails done, whether it’s gel, acrylic or wear press on’s take that very seriously as one would their hair. Professionally I would say i got to where I am by never giving up and always being open to learning new things and accepting criticism. It definitely has not been an easy journey, but well worth it. You will have challenges in almost everything you do, but never give up! What I want the world to know about my brand and story is that I work hard and always keep the customers first and deliver quality and luxurious experiences and products.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting Denver, we would definitely stop by Fire on the Mountain side for drinks and food on a relaxing day followed by a visit to Cherry Creek for some retail therapy. We would visit Meow Wolfe Museum for views and pictures, also Garden of the Gods and amphitheater for more beautiful views and hikes. Ending it at The Nail Scoop 2 to be pampered.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
