We had the good fortune of connecting with Kylie Faildo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kylie, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting Jeen was really about creating the kind of care I wanted my patients to experience- something I wasn’t seeing enough of in traditional healthcare settings. I’ve worked in both in-person and digital physical therapy models, and I kept noticing the same gap: people, especially women, weren’t getting the time, education, and individualized attention they needed for their pelvic health.

So my thought process was: if I want to truly treat the whole person and not just the diagnosis, I need to build that environment myself. Jeen lets me do that. I can spend a full hour with each patient, blend hands-on work with education and movement, and create a calm, comfortable space that reflects the values I have as both a clinician and a mom.

On a personal level, I also wanted flexibility and ownership over my schedule and my energy. Starting Jeen gave me the chance to serve my community in a way that feels aligned with my life, especially now that I’m balancing motherhood and business ownership.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Jeen is a pelvic floor physical therapy practice based in Parker, Colorado, designed to help women feel confident, strong, and connected to their bodies again, whether they’re pregnant, postpartum, or in peri/menopause.

What sets Jeen apart is the level of individualized, evidence-based care each person receives. I don’t rush sessions or take a one-size-fits-all approach. I spend a full hour with every patient, really listening to their story and tailoring treatment to their goals, whether that’s healing after birth, returning to running, or simply feeling like themselves again.

I’m most proud of creating a space that feels safe, empowering, and deeply personal. So many of my patients come in feeling dismissed or misunderstood by the medical system. Being able to change that narrative- to make them feel seen, validated, and hopeful is what keeps me passionate about this work.

Getting here definitely wasn’t easy. Starting a business while pregnant with twins (and later returning postpartum) came with its share of challenges. I had to learn to be flexible, efficient, and okay with imperfect progress. But it also taught me how resilient both I and the women I work with truly are.

The biggest lessons I’ve learned are the importance of authenticity, boundaries, and community. People connect with people, not just businesses. And I think that’s what Jeen represents: real, human-centered care.

What I want the world to know about my brand is that pelvic health isn’t just about the pelvic floor. It’s about quality of life. My mission is to help women realize they don’t have to live with pain, leakage, or disconnection from their bodies. Healing is possible, and they deserve the time and care it takes to get there.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are a few people and communities who deserve a huge shoutout for helping me get to where I am. First and foremost, my husband. He’s been my biggest supporter from day one, encouraging me to take the leap into business ownership and helping me navigate all the behind-the-scenes parts of running Jeen while balancing life as new parents to twins.

I also have to credit the amazing pelvic health community- the mentors, educators, and colleagues who’ve shared their knowledge so generously. This field can feel niche, but it’s full of people who truly care about elevating women’s health, and that support has been incredible.

And finally, my patients. They’re the reason I started Jeen in the first place. Every story they share, every “light-bulb moment” in a session. It keeps me grounded and constantly inspired to do better.
