Meet L.V. | Founder & CEO of Amouré

We had the good fortune of connecting with L.V. and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi L.V., we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve known from a young age that I wanted to leave a meaningful impact on the world. I explored different career paths and always felt drawn to law, which is why I chose to pursue a business degree as a foundation for law school. But somewhere along the way, I realized I didn’t have to wait to make a difference—I already had a concept worth building.
The idea for my business was born from personal experience. In past relationships—romantic and platonic—I often felt unseen and undervalued. As someone whose love languages are gift-giving and acts of service, I realized how often emotional needs go unmet not because of a lack of love, but a lack of tools. I knew that some people, like me, are naturally attuned to thoughtful gestures and emotional awareness—while others struggle to express that care, even when it’s there.
So I decided to create a solution: a digital wingman designed to help people show up better for the ones they love. My goal was to bridge that emotional gap and give people a tool to help them express affection in ways that feel meaningful, intentional, and impactful. Because love isn’t just a feeling—it’s follow-through.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
If you were to ask my current occupation, I’m still just a student—but that title barely scratches the surface of who I am. I’m also an entrepreneur, a visionary, a builder, and the founder of Amouré: a relationship-tech brand that’s redefining how people show up for the ones they love.
What sets me apart isn’t just the idea—it’s the heart behind it. I created Amouré because I saw a real gap in how we express our love and care in today’s fast-paced world, and I believe there has to be a better way. Starting a business while still in college hasn’t been easy. It’s meant navigating the unknown, asking questions I didn’t always have answers to, and staying grounded in both faith and grit. But I’m proud of the progress I’ve made—and even prouder of the purpose driving it.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that being “qualified” doesn’t mean having all the answers. It means having the courage to start, the humility to learn, and the perseverance to keep going. If you have an idea and the drive to bring it to life, that’s enough.
I want the world to know: we’re building something real, something meaningful—and we’re just getting started.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to visit for a week, I’d want to give them the full Colorado experience. In the warmer months, we’d definitely hit Red Rocks for a concert—there’s nothing quite like live music surrounded by red rock formations and sunset views. In the winter, we’d head to the mountains for a ski or snowboard day. January through March is prime time.
If they’re feeling outdoorsy, we might go on a scenic hike or try paddleboarding—great ways to enjoy Colorado’s natural beauty.
One of my personal favorite places to visit in Denver is the Denver Art Museum. It’s the kind of space that recharges you creatively and offers a fresh perspective every time. I also love Pearl Street and “The Hill” in Boulder.
For food, I have a few must-visit spots. In Denver, Pig and Sprout is my go-to for elevated comfort food, and Happy Camper is perfect for pizza in a fun, social setting. In Boulder, Hapa Sushi is a top pick, and Busaba Thai never disappoints. And of course, Colorado-style pizza at Beau Jo’s—with honey on the crust—is a must.
The mix of food, art, music, nature, and connection is what makes this area so special—and it’s a big part of what inspires and energizes me.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, all glory goes to God. Every step I’ve taken in this journey has only been possible because of all the blessings in my life. I’m so thankful to be in an environment where I’ve had access to incredible resources, support systems, and the space to pursue a vision like Amouré.
I also want to give a special thank you to my instructors who believed in my idea when it was still just forming. Their encouragement gave me the confidence to keep building. And to the mentors who equipped me with the tools and insight I needed to move forward, you’ve helped shape both me and the business. Your belief in me and guidance mean more than you know. Thank you, Mary Guenther and Erick Mueller. Sko buffs!
And to my family, thank you for everything. The opportunities, encouragement, and love keep me motivated and going. You guys are my rock.
And to all my friends and every single person in my community who has supported me, whether through kind words, financial contributions, or simply cheering me on—your love and belief have kept this dream alive. There’s still a long road ahead, but I wouldn’t have made it this far without the incredible people God has placed around me. I’m endlessly thankful.
