We had the good fortune of connecting with Lacey Spallitta and Lauren Goes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lacey and Lauren, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
We are sisters that wanted to start a business that we were both passionate about and love doing. We are both busy Moms to elementary aged kids so we needed something we could do from home and gave us some flexibility. We both share a love for travel, so starting a travel business was a natural choice for us. It gives us the opportunity to create a unique and personalized travel experience for our clients and is allowing us to share that passion for travel and adventure with others.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a team that is passionate about helping our clients explore the world via amazing travel experiences, which is why we started this travel advisory company.

With a keen eye for detail developed over 15 years of meeting and event planning for large multi-national companies and a deep understanding of the travel industry. We are now dedicated to providing our personal clients with world class service and personalized plans that cater to their individual interests and needs. Whether it’s a romantic getaway to a tropical paradise, a family vacation to make memories, a trip to immerse yourself in culture and amazing food or an adventurous expedition to a remote corner of the world. We are committed to making every trip truly memorable.

We also found incredible mentors at 58 Stars Travel that accelerated the launch of our company as we gained momentum. We now have the ability to curate the perfect trip for each client. There are always ups and downs with starting a business. A great team and a support system has helped us navigate the challenges and capitalize on the opportunity. .

We want the world to know there is a lot more that goes into booking a memorable trip then just reserving a room at a resort. Our passion for travel is contagious, and we love nothing more than helping others discover new and exciting destinations around the globe. Our goal is to create unforgettable travel experiences that will last a lifetime.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We love Colorado and there is so much to do during the summer. However, we would recommend staying in one of the cabins at The Ranch at Emerald Valley which is part of the Broadmoor Wilderness Experience. There are so many activities to do during your stay there but we would also recommend checking out a concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheater, enjoying the views from a hot air balloon ride and staying active by hiking the mountain trails with views that never disappoint.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We are blessed and lucky to have a ton of support from our friends and family. Travel is in our DNA. Our love for travel started with our Grandparents who met when they both worked for TWA airlines. They traveled the world many times over and shared their experiences with us starting when we were young children. Growing up hearing about all these amazing trips they took gave us the travel bug that continued to grow. We then started sharing our own amazing travel experiences with our Grandparents as we grew older. Now that they have both passed starting this business keeps their traveling spirit alive in us.
