Meet Laci O’Reilly: Virtual Assistant/social media manager

We had the good fortune of connecting with Laci O’Reilly and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Laci, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
2020 dealt me a lot of hands. I lost my job, my school went 100% remote, my sons school went 100% remote, I got married, my husband joined the military… The list goes on and on. Good and bad. Not having a job, and spending a lot of time at home gave me the opportunity to evaluate what I wanted out of my career. Working for myself and helping people were at the top of my list! So I decided to start a virtual assisting business. This allows me to be creative, work for myself, and help people!

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a virtual assistant and social media manager at LOR Virtual Assistance in Golden. What sets me apart is my wide range of experience from construction, to farming, animal handling, and a degree in science. I’ve spent a lot of years owning and managing my own businesses, blog, social media, these are all things I’ve done that make me a successful VA now.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The places I would take my friends to eat: Cafe 13, Golden Waffle Lab, Ft Collins Syrup, City Park Denver The tributary, Golden The Golden Moon Speakeasy, Golden Trailhead, Golden

For sights/activities Red Rocks Amphitheater for music, Eldora ski resort, great for beginners, the enchanted forest trailhead. Chatfield reservoir, or Carter Lake.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My best friend Alyssa Wiseman and her Father Tom. Their hard work in their own businesses is so inspiring and makes me feel like I could do anything.
