We had the good fortune of connecting with LARAH THORGAARD and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LARAH, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Living Larah was born out of years of friends and family seeking my advice on home décor, backyard gardening and landscaping, recipe ideas, and product recommendations. I launched Living Larah to extend my reach and offer inspiration to those who may not have direct access to me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am excited to continue growing Living Larah in the coming years, aiming to help people see the beauty in everyday life and find accessible ways to incorporate that beauty into their own lives.

Nothing is easy. One challenge in this market is making people understand that I genuinely believe in and stand behind my ideas, products, and recipes—I only share what I personally use and trust.

Lessons: Growth takes time. Trust the process. Believe in your vision.

About Living Larah: I am a real mom, wife, friend, sister, and daughter who is relatable and hopes to become a household name by offering lifestyle tips, recipe suggestions, and maybe just someone to relate to.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Denver:
– Cherry Creek: (Dinner) Quality Italian, Le Bilboquet, Le Merise – (Shopping): A Line, Neiman Marcus
– Downtown: Coors Field for a baseball game, then drinks at Cooper Lounge
– Farmers Market (Pearl Street, City Park)
– Denver Zoo in AM then lunch in Cherry Creek
– Walk in Wash Park or around Pearl Street or Gaylord St.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mom, who I learned my love of aesthetics and France. My sister-in-law, Rebecca, who encouraged me to start this platform. My son & husband, who inspire me daily.
