Meet Lauren Brunetti | Podcast Host & Wellness Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lauren Brunetti and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lauren, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
’ve always had a deep interest in health and wellness—from a young age. I earned my CNA license in high school and took premed courses in college—experiences that reminded me how powerful it is to take care of our health and help others do the same. As a longtime wellness ambassador, I’ve encouraged others to make small, meaningful changes that lead to healthier lives.
But over time, my perspective deepened. After becoming a mom, experiencing the sudden loss of a loved one, and walking through the natural transitions of aging, I found myself on a renewed wellness journey—one that’s holistic, embracing not just the physical, but the mental and spiritual aspects of health.
That’s what inspired me to create the Erie Wellness Podcast—a space built on community connection and a desire to bring people together in meaningful ways. Erie is such a growing, vibrant town, and I wanted families here to know about the incredible local, authentic voices shaping wellness right in our own backyard—from doctors and coaches to small business owners.
As a wife and mom of three— with parents who are getting older — I know firsthand that every stage of life brings its own wellness challenges and needs. From kids juggling school and sports, to parents balancing work and stress, to our retired neighbors focusing on longevity and quality of life, we all have something unique we’re navigating.
My goal is for this podcast to be a bridge between residents and local experts, offering stories, insights, and conversations that educate and empower.
Because when we feel better, we do better—and it’s our community that helps us along the way.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

Starting a business has definitely been an eye-opening experience. It takes time, consistency, and a lot of learning along the way. Because my podcast depends on guests, networking has been a huge part of the process—you really have to help people see your vision and believe in what you’re building so they feel excited to be part of it.
When I first started, I knew I loved listening to podcasts, but I had no idea what went into running one. From the initial exploratory calls to see if someone’s the right fit, to recording, editing, social media, and uploading across platforms—it’s a full production. And then there’s the ongoing marketing and community engagement, which is just as important.
It’s definitely a lot of work, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. This podcast has become my passion project, and what makes it even more meaningful is knowing it’s helping others in the community grow their businesses, share their stories, and inspire others on their own wellness journeys.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to visit, I’d want to show them all my favorite local spots. We’d start with a bike ride along the Coal Creek Trail—it’s such a great way to take in the scenery of the front range—then grab coffee at Cristo’s or Fox Dog, my two go-to spots.
We’d spend an afternoon walking around the cute shops in downtown Lafayette—I love shopping into Due South—and maybe do an Escape Room at Tenletters on Briggs Street for something fun and different in the afternoon.
If it’s summer, we’d definitely hit up the Erie Farmers Market for local goodies and live music. And to end the day, we’d grab dinner on the patio at Piripi—great food and such a nice way to wrap up the evening.
I would want them to experience the mix of community, small-town charm, and all the local gems that make Erie feel like home.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d have to give a big shoutout to my Shaklee Wellness Leaders team. They’ve really helped me kickstart a healthier wellness journey and continue to inspire me every day. We talk a lot about longevity, living well, and how our faith ties into all of it—it’s such a supportive and uplifting community.
