We had the good fortune of connecting with Leah Noyes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Leah, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
There is an old saying that says the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago; the next best time is now. As a yoga, spiritual and holistic teacher, I help people, particularly women, find their inner wisdom, voice and claim back their health. We live in a society where information is constantly being shoved in our face, when really the wisdom lives within each and every one of us. I feel it is my calling to help others return to their true authentic self. I teacher students how to use their energy bodies to heal and reconnect with their soul self. I help students remember that their true power lies within. I believe we are entering an era of self trust, an era of true awakening where people are starting to come home to their inner wisdom and looking within instead of outside. The energy body is not a familiar topic to most people, but science is starting to recognize and even acknowledge its potential and healing qualities. It is fascinating to be part of this change and witness so many people waking up to their divine power. I have a deep sense of gratitude being able to see so many people coming into their own sense of power; using the power of yoga, meditation and holistic medicine over mainstream pharmaceutical drugs.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I love being a Yoga, spiritual and holistic coach! In my yoga classes, I try to bring in a lot of spiritual teaching and energy work for each class. I teach a lot about the energy body and how you can move energy in your body to heal your physical and mental bodies. The energy body absolutely influences a person’s physical, emotional and mental health, and imbalances can be associated with various ailments. If we practiced more energy work, we would have less disease, depression/anxiety, and certainly a lot more trips to the doctor!

My newest project is introducing and teaching people about a holistic medicine that has transformed my health. After having three children, I began to suffer from menstrual migraines, stomach cramps, fatigue, inflammation, weight gain, and restless nights. After years of struggling with these symptoms, I thought this was, unfortunately, my new normal after entering my 40s. Then my prayers were answered; my holistic friend, (Again, thank you, Stephani Pheffer) introduced me to, the Body Balancing Drops. These amazing little drops go under your tongue three times a day. They suppress your appetite, balance your hormones while supporting proper thyroid levels, digestion and sugar levels. They have completely and 100% CHANGED my life. Since I believe in this product so much, I have started my own business in selling these holistic drops. I end each yoga class with an open Q&A for anyone who struggles with hormone imbalances, thyroid issues or blood sugar concerns. It has been challenging getting the word out about this wonderful product, but I am committed because I have seen how it has changed my life, and the life of so many women who feel there are no holistic answers to balancing their hormones. I want woman to know that there are other options before turning to mainstream medicine. I am 43 and I feel 23 again-I will never stop taking these drops! If anyone would like to learn more about these drops, attend a energy or yoga class, please reach out to me. My email is LBL81@yahoo.com. My phone number is 720-425-4829.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh Man! My cousins just came to visit from Louisiana and we did just this! We started the week with a hike up to Castle Rock Mountain. On our way down, we stopped by Adriana’s Mexican Restaurant in Franktown- hands-down the BEST Chile Relleno you will ever have! The next day was Sunday, so I took them to the BEST farmers market in the Denver ever, South Pearl Street! There is live music, a ton of venues, and the actual stores on this street are the best. Make sure you buy some ginger honey from the street vendor and check out the second-hand store called, Common Threads. It has the best secondhand clothes at a fraction of retail price! After you’ve got you shoppin’ on, head south of the farmers market to visit Karma Yoga Studio. There you will find a quant and woo-woo yoga center that will fill your body, mind and spirit with pure goodness. If you’re really lucky, attend a class with Lisa! She is the absolute BEST yoga teacher around!

On Monday, if it’s still ski season, sneak away to the BEST secret mountain called Echo Mountain, right outside of Evergreen. You can rent skis and a lift ticket both for under a 100 bucks. You will also be able to score front row parking. There is only one chairlift, so if you’re into big and fancy, this isn’t your mountain. However, if you into no lines, and a local hippie vibe than this is your mountain. If you have time, you can also visiting the snow tubing area. Or better yet, leave the kids in the FREE ski school while you catch a few runs! The one restaurant on the mountain has a super chill vibe and the views are out of this world.
After this, I would definitely spend a few days in Manitou Springs. As the locals say, “Everyone in this town is high” and it’s true. Definitely hit up the hot springs while you there, the stair incline, and absolutely 100 percent, do the natural mineral water spring tour! Manitou Springs has seven mineral spring fountains scattered around town. Each one has a unique taste and mineral composition, and historically they were believe to have healing properties. It is so fun to try to find them all with the town’s little map! While down there, make sure you visit Cave of the Winds for the views (maybe even meditate while you’re up there) and visit Garden of the Gods. After all this fun, I would definitely want a day on and around 6th Ave in Denver. We would first eat brunch at Syrup. Make sure you order the Cherry Cricket. It is delicious. After eating, we would walk over to Tibet Imports. Before you go, make sure you know the date, place, and time of your birth. The wonderful Tibetan woman who owns the story will give you a Vedic astrology reading, and a Mala necklace that matches your chart. It is over the top fun, and the store has heaps and heaps of treasures! After our astrology reading, we would head down to Wash Park. For the best people watching around a a nice lap or two around the park. Finally for our week long agenda, I would end our adventure at Red Rocks. I would hopefully catch one of the many series of, Yoga on the Rocks, followed by an epic concert….My personal favs: The Lumineers, Red Clay Strays, Chris Stapleton, Zach Bryan and/or Nathanial Rateliff! A powerhouse of soul, folk and rock music all combined into one with views that will make you remember all the beauty and abundance that constantly surrounds us. Wow! This made me excited to be a resident of the Denver-metro area; what an amazing city we live in!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In terms of my holistic background, I give a huge shout out to Stephani Pheffer. She is my mentor in holistic medicine, friend and in many ways my spiritual teacher. She recently turned me on to a beautiful holistic blend of herbs called, The Body Balancing Drops. I take them myself to balance my hormones naturally. Because of her, I have introduced the holistic medicine to many women, and it has transformed their health without mainstream medicine.
