Meet Lena Ve | Founder | Licensed Esthetician & Beauty Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lena Ve and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lena, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
People think beauty services are just about making someone look good on the outside—but there’s so much more going on behind the scenes. Every treatment I do is backed by real science—skin biology, product chemistry, technique. I’m always studying ingredients, understanding how they interact with different skin types, and customizing every detail to make sure it’s safe, effective, and personal.
But for me, it’s also about connection. I’m not just here to do a facial or lashes—I’m building trust, relationships, and a space where clients feel genuinely seen and cared for. I want every person who leaves my treatment room to feel more confident, more radiant, and more themselves. That’s what drives me.
Building that foundational trust is very imperative because what others don’t realize is how many different types of brands there are in the world and that not every product is for everyone as our skin & body reacts different to products. I had a client who came to me for lashes one time & she was the only client who was having a lot more fallout than all of my other clients that I learned my products didn’t suit her. Though, this did not mean that I had to buy what works for her. Instead, i built her trust to share with her another artist’s products that may work better for her than for me & she was very understanding. She still goes to that lash artist till this day & her & I remain in contact respectfully & educationally. Therefore, when I come across client’s who may have had a horror experience is because of the products that did not suit them and that is why it is imperative to really understand the science behind it which is what outsiders are probably unaware of. All in all, we’re constantly educating ourselves to stay ahead because the industry itself evolves.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m the founder and owner of LenaVe Lovely Luxuries, a beauty and wellness space located in Aurora, nestled in the back of Obsessed Salon. I’m a licensed esthetician, PMU artist, & Head Spa Therapist, and my work blends artistry, science, and care to help each client feel more grounded in their self-worth and confident in their skin. I offer a range of services—from nano brows and ombré brows to lip blush, lash extensions, facials, waxing, lash lift brow tint, head scalp therapy, and targeted skin treatments—all designed to enhance natural features while improving skin health.
But what truly sets me apart is the experience and the intention behind every service. I’m not here just to provide a beauty treatment—I’m here to create a moment for you to reconnect with yourself. My motto is: “Be kind to yourself. Be you—not them.” That saying was born out of my own experience in this industry, realizing how often people compare themselves or neglect their needs while pouring into everyone else. I wanted to change that narrative.
After graduating from MSU Denver with a degree in Human Resources in 2021, I leaned fully into my creative side and became certified as an esthetician, PMU artist, life coach, and even in grant writing. I’ve now been self-employed for four years, and this journey hasn’t been easy—but it’s been worth every lesson. There were times I felt overwhelmed, especially navigating growth alone, but I learned the importance of community, boundaries, and ongoing education. Surrounding myself with other business-minded individuals helped me grow twice as much in one year than the year before. That shift in energy, mindset, and support made all the difference.
What I’m most excited about now is expansion. I’m transitioning from doing it all myself to building a team and truly stepping into my role as a business owner and leader. LenaVe Lovely Luxuries is evolving into something bigger than me—a space rooted in intentional care, elevated service, and human connection.
At the end of the day, I want the world to know that beauty doesn’t define your worth—but prioritizing self-care can remind you of your power. Through every treatment, I aim to hold space for that reminder. You can’t pour from an empty cup, and I’m here to help you refill it—gently, intentionally, and with love.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Colorado has so much to offer depending on your vibe—and I love that I can tailor a whole experience for anyone who visits.
We’d start with something iconic—Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Whether it’s catching a live show or just hiking the trails during the day, the energy up there is unmatched. One of my favorite hidden gems is doing bingo night at Bass Lounge where you can actually win tickets to a future concert. It’s chaotic and fun in the best way.
For food, I’d take them to Necio Kitchen for that moody-modern Mexican comfort food, and then swing by My Neighbor Felix—the drinks are strong, the ambiance is perfect for catching up, and the tacos.
If we’re feeling artsy or want to bar hop, I’d head to the RiNo District—lots of murals, live music, cute pop-ups, and tucked-away cocktail spots.
We’d also balance all the indulgence with nature. Colorado has beautiful hiking trails everywhere—we could do a sunrise hike if we’re feeling ambitious or just explore nearby parks and scenic drives if we’re in our soft girl era.
But honestly? Some of the best memories happen right in my home. My parents are incredible cooks, so if we wanted to lay low, we’d stay in and have an Asian home-cooked meal and talk for hours. It’s all about the energy.
Colorado is a mix of wild adventure and grounding beauty—and depending on what you’re feeling, I can give you the full luxe weekend or the chill local experience. That’s what makes it special. Though, being with the right company gives the best experience overall.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to my parents. My mom was the one who really encouraged me to turn my passion into a full-time business after I got laid off—and that shift changed my life. She’s been my biggest cheerleader in always challenging me to do more & have more to have something to fall back on. And my dad, in his steady wisdom, always reminded me that who you surround yourself with truly shapes your path. That advice has stayed with me deeply. This past year especially, I’ve seen how being around other driven, business-minded, and balanced individuals has completely elevated my mindset. I’ve grown more in this one year—personally and in my business—than the year before, simply by being in rooms where people pour into themselves while still knowing how to enjoy life.
It’s a reminder that yes, we can hustle… but we can also breathe, rest, and laugh.
I’ve been self-employed with LenaVe Lovely Luxuries for four years now, and I’m in a beautiful transition season—ready to grow a team and shift from doing everything myself to becoming the kind of leader who builds something lasting. I’m stepping out of the self-employed mindset and into true business ownership with the help of both my mentors, Amy & Yindy from Obsessed Salon in Aurora/Denver. And I know I wouldn’t be here without the people who believed in me when I was still just figuring it all out.
