We had the good fortune of connecting with Leslie White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Leslie, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
The most important thing that had steered me towards success was to open myself and my company to have other independent artists work for me instead of me working solo. When I decided to start hiring out artists to build a team was when I was really able to spread my wings and not only help myself but help more brides feel beautiful and comfortable with themselves on their wedding day.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I manage/run/own a bridal company that serves hair and makeup to wedding parties between the Midwest and the Rocky Mountains.

I have been working special events and weddings since 2010. Self employment never comes easy and its a constant fight to persevere and thrive. Being honest and true to myself and my clients has given me a great word of mouth reputation in the wedding industry.

Our focus is to be a welcoming, warm, inclusive beauty team for weddings. To give clients piece of mind that they will be taken care of by licensed and trained professionals that are generally invested in the customers happiness.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Living in Colorado I love what it has to offer. The entire state is so vast that you can rent a cabin in the remote woods, wander the sand dunes, cozy up in the mountains, soak in natural hot springs or play outside in the winter sports.
