We had the good fortune of connecting with Lexi Price and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lexi, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
In my business, the most important factor is my client’s feeling of safety and success. It is my job to ensure that their training will not only get them to where they want to be physically but to also keep them safe, healthy, and moving well for all of life’s challenges.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I work side by side with some of the greatest rehab professionals out there to provide my clients with effective strength and conditioning training to help them feel their best and accomplish goals they didn’t think were possible. Five years ago when I started at the clinic as an exercise technician I had no idea that this is where I would be today. At the time I knew that I wanted to bridge the gap between finishing physical therapy and moving on to maintaining a healthier lifestyle but I wasn’t sure how that would happen. Then three years ago my boss offered me the chance to use my CSCS outside of my patient care hours as a way to begin training in this higher level setting. I worked 60 hours a week for months and then I worked part-time as a nanny while my training business grew big enough to sustain me. It was a long, hard road and there were times I wasn’t sure I was doing all that I should be doing but I wouldn’t change a thing. I am a firm believer that life gives you what you need to learn in order to get you where you need to be.

I aim to prove to all of my clients that exercise is what will allow them to live the life they want to live for themselves but also for those they love.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am not a fan of the bar scene and my heart and body belong outside so I would show them all of the beautiful scenery that Colorado has to offer. Paddleboarding up in Evergreen, hiking in rocky mountain national park, and a red rocks concert. I also believe that one of the keys to a fulfilling life is taking on new physical challenges and there’s not another challenge out there like the Manitou Springs Incline so the week would have to end with that adventure.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Alex Lanton at Atlas Physical Therapy- thank you for choosing me to be your aid all those years ago and for presenting me with the opportunity to grow this now wonderful program. You are a great boss, teacher, and therapist.
