Meet Logan & Dragana Allenbaugh | Business Owners

We had the good fortune of connecting with Logan & Dragana Allenbaugh and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Logan & Dragana, what role has risk played in your life or career?
My mom took a huge risk in 2011 when she immigrated to the U.S. to give my brother and me a better life. If she was brave enough to change everything, new country, new language, new life, then it was on me to take the next risk and build something with the opportunity this country offers, where anyone can start their own business.
I believe risk is essential. Without it, there’s no reward. Not trying at all is the biggest risk, living with what if. The odds of success may be 50/50, but effort tilts the scale. Even when you fall short, you grow into someone stronger.
Logan- The biggest risk in life is risking nothing at all. You have to risk it for the biscuit right? So risk has a direct correlation to success. Scared money doesn’t make money. The good life lies on the other side of your comfort zone, so if its to risky for you its just right for me.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Scarpaletto is a 49 year old independent footwear and accessories store built on one core mission: quality, comfort, and longevity.
In a world of fast fashion and disposable products, we focus on helping people buy fewer things, but buy better ones.
What truly sets us apart is our old-school “sit and fit” experience.
We take the time to understand how our customers live, move, and work, then fit them properly with footwear and accessories that support their body and lifestyle. Most people have never experienced that level of service, and once they do, they never go back.
The business wasn’t easy to build or modernize. We took over a legacy brand and rebuilt systems, inventory, and operations from the ground up, all while protecting what made Scarpaletto special: craftsmanship, personal service, and trust.
Building this business has not been easy. It’s a constant work in progress, a process of learning, refining, and improving every day. We don’t see that as a burden; we see it as the advantage. That continuous growth is what pushes the brand forward and forces us to expand personally as operators.
What we want the world to know is simple:
comfort is not optional, quality is not a luxury, and great service never goes out of style.
Scarpaletto is for people who are done replacing things every year and want products that actually perform, today and for years to come.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We take pride in supporting small business’s like ourselves, and Denver is the perfect city with a ton to offer.
A walk down the 16th street mall is a must. Grab some lunch and do some shopping at the Historic Larimer Square, Swing down to Market station on 16th for some great shops, and work our way down 16th towards Union station. Past union station we’d have to make a stop at the beautiful confluence park where 2 rivers meet in the heart of downtown.
Now no trip to Denver is complete without a breakfast burrito so that would certainly be on the agenda. A huge bright spot for the city is how interconnected all of the trails and bike paths are. So rent an e-bike and have an adventure!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Logan- The old saying of “self made” is a fallacy. No body made it to the top without help. Environment is essential, so who you surround yourself with is who you will become. I want to give credit to Phil Vivinetto, our dear friend and mentor. I give immense credit to my family for instilling the values that make me who I am today. With a special emphasis on my grandfather Rodger Bleich, who ran a business my whole childhood. Additionally, I had some giant shoulders to stand on thanks to the mindset that the World Wide Dream Builders organization instilled in me. Leaders are readers but not all readers are leaders. Ive read SO MANY personal growth books but it all comes back to the Bible. All glory to God.
Dragana- The people you surround yourself with and the lifestyle they live will directly reflect in your life. We have been blessed to have met some amazing people through the World Wide Dream Builders organization who have been nothing but fantastic mentors for us. The books they suggested we read have absolutely changed our mindset on how we view success and money. My favorite book I’ve read thanks for their suggestion was the Magic of Thinking Big. That book has completely alerted my reality and helped me realize that if you underestimate obstacles, fear action, or hold limiting internal dialogue, nothing will change in your life.
