We had the good fortune of connecting with Lynnea Aragon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lynnea, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks is so important in all aspects of your life. Without taking them, you’ll rarely be able to grow whether that be in your personal or professional life. Every risk I have taken has been worth it and put me on a path that I am so proud of. I would not have my own business, graduated early, or be a model if I had not taken a risk.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I make press on nails and wire wrapped necklaces for my small business. Aside from that, I graduated a year early from high school and I am now pursuing my real estate license. I’m also a model who does commercial and high fashion as well as runway shows. I have been published in three magazines, locally and internationally, including front and back cover in Intra Magazine in Paris. I used to be an all star cheerleader until I tore my ACL, MCL, lateral meniscus, medial meniscus and fractured my fibula in 2019. My whole life, I’ve had people doubting me and what I was capable of which just motivated me even more. I’ve learned that nobody can tell you what you can and can’t do. You’re capable of so much more than people will ever give you credit for.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One of my favorite places in the city is Elitches. I went there constantly growing up and it was so much fun every time. I would like to go to breakfast at Snooze A.M Eatery first which is probably my favorite breakfast spot. I love shopping too so we would probably take a trip to Colorado Mills Mall too.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family and boyfriend have played such an important role in my story. I’ve always had their help and support and would not be able to do all the things I’m pursuing without any of them. Being that I just turned 18 and started my business when I was 16, there has been a lot things that I couldn’t do on my own but they were always there for me and at the end of the day I know that they always will be.
